Chapter 19 

I practically flew out of bed when I heard Sergio and Pilar pull up to the house. I just couldn’t wait to see them. Sergio was leaving this afternoon to go to Portugal for the Champion’s League Finals, so I can imagine that he jus wants to stay by Pilar’s side and see his baby before he leaves. I ran downstairs and greeted the smiling duo.

            “Shhh, Sergio Ramos Rubio Jr. is sleeping.”

Pilar said in a hushed tone. I nodded and went other to her and she handed him to me, I couldn’t help but cry at how beautiful he was. He is most defiantly going to look just like Sergio, that’s for sure.

            “Pilar are you still going to the finals in Lisbon?”

I asked them, the answer was surely going to be no that is if they even talked about that.

“No Isa, I’m staying home with the baby, Miriam, your mom, and mine are coming to stay with me. You’re going to go with Rene and your dad. Its not safe to bring such a young infant to a stadium.”

I nodded and gave SJ (Sergio Junior) a kiss before giving to Pilar. She took him and brought him to the nursery to sleep.

“Isa, what are your plans for today because you have to leave for practice in 5?”

My brother asked me.

“Well after that Luca, Enzo and I are hanging out. So you can just spend time with Pilar and the baby before you have to leave tonight.”

I said hoping that he didn’t here the first part.  He looked at me like I had another head before saying,

“What the hell are you doing with Luca isn’t he that one that hurt you? No, you’re not hanging out with him or any of the Zidane boys and that final.”

He said crossing his arms. Well us Ramos do hold a mean grudge that’s for sure.

“Please Sergio he didn’t mean that stuff its not him you should dislike it the b*tch  Carmen Perez. She made him say all those things. Besides you love Zizou so why would you think the him and Veronique would raise there sons to be bad people. Think about it?”

I said hoping to shed some light on the situation. I could tell the gears started turning when I mentioned Zizou and Veronique, who were good friends of him and Pilar. His face slowly softened.

“Isa I just don’t want you getting hurt, we have gone through so much and I cant stand to see my baby sister in pain. Just promise me you’ll be careful.”

He said doing his best to keep his composure.

            “I promise Sergio.”

I said stepping closer and having a proper Ramos hug. After we said goodbye to Pilar and SJ before Sergio drove me to my Practice. When I got there the pitch that we trained on was just covered in water and it was still drizzling. Katia came up to me and told me we were just having a fitness day inside.

            “Hey Isa!!”

Lucia yelled while joining me in the walk to the gym.

            “Hey Luce what’s up?”

I said slinging my bag over my shoulder.

            L: So I hear that Luca broke things off with Carmen because she actually pushed his little brother Theo off a slide and he broke his arm.

            I: Jeez I didn’t hear that part but I did know he broke up with her.

            L: OOOOOO is Lucabella; that’s you couple name we all made up: getting back together?!
