The new semester started and Jaemin doesn't know what to feel right now.

Another semester, More homeworks, More stress, More rejections of confessions. He's just tired of this never ending cycle.

"NANAAAAAAA!!"

Oof, this loud voice.

Soon enough, Jaemin felt himself almost falling from how Donghyuck clinged on him, like a koala.

"Omg Hyuckkie can you not--"

Jaemin rolled his eyes as he tried to get the other male to get off him, earning some laughs from their classmate.

"Hyungggg!!!"

"Oof a dolphin coming through"

Dongkyuck mocked and embraced the younger male, sneaking a small peck on Chenle's cheeks.

"Ewwwwww Hyung"

Jaemin chuckled at how childish the both of them are and then drapped his arms around the both of them, walking towards the class of their maknae, Jisung.

"Hey, did you hear? We will be having a new student in our class!"

The trio could hear people discussing and they're sure those students are from their class.

"So, who do you think is the new kid?"

"Pfft, what do you think we are Chenle, fortune teller?"

Oh woah that sass, Lee Donghyuck.

"We'll see..."

Jaemin softly mumbled as he dragged both the males towards their classroom.

"Alright class, we'll be having a new student today! Please welcome him in."

Mr Yoon's usual loud voice boomed, and the whole class, including Jaemin clapped to welcome the new student in.

Gasps and whispers could be heard in  every direction as the new student step in.

Jaemin too, was in awe of the new students' visuals. He seemed so ethereal.

But then Donghyuck who was sitting behind him kicked his chair and whispered something like "I know him." into Jaemin's ear.

Jaemin's eyes never left the new kid as he made his way up to the podium to introduce himself.

"Annyeonghaseyo, My name is Jeno, Lee Jeno."

And that hit Jaemin.

No wonder Donghyuck knows him.

Jaemin turn around to face Donghyuck with a questioning look, but the latter only shrugged, making Jaemin turning back and focus in the front again.

"Hmm let's see where you should sit, Jeno."

Mr Yoon said as he eyed the class.

"You can seat beside Jaemin over there."

Both Jaemin and Jeno's eyes widen from the mention of Jaemin's name.

Jaemin gave the two figures on the podium a small smile and slightly nodded.

Jeno thanked the teacher before walking up to the vacant seat next to Jaemin, sitting down on it without saying any word.

Well, this is awkward.
