Mowgli starts his story

You wondered how Mowgli was doing in the man village so you sneaked in and climb up a tree near the house he was living in. As you climbed you hear the people around him talking. "Horray Mowgli!", "Shush,Ranjan it's starting.", "Come, children. Come watch" , "Mowgli, tell us your story,". Then Mowgli gets the fire going and puppets in his hand "I never knew where I came from." He said, "But I always knew where I belonged." You're filled with amazement as he moves them to make his story come to life. He then starts his story. "This is me and Bagheera, the panther who found me in the jungle. He's a good friend." You always wondered how Mowgli was in the jungle by himself. "But Bagheera wanted me to leave the jungle and I didn't, so I ran off and ran into something or someone." You slowly noticed that he was talking about the day you guys first met. "It was no other than another friend of mine. A girl in the jungle, her name was (y/n). She and I didn't want to leave the jungle either so we ran off together." Your face is filled with glee since you thought he wouldn't mention you in front of Shanti. "That's until we met my best friend of all was good ol' Papa Bear.", "A bear?" Shanti said. "Man, we had some crazy times together." Mowgli continued. You laugh quietly remembering the time you had with Baloo and Mowgli together. "And when the monkeys grabbed us, things got really crazy." Your hear the little boy named Ranjan saying "Monkeys! Bad monkeys! Bad! Go, Papa Bear!" You smile at Ranjan of how much he likes Mowgli's story. "Then we came face to face with the meanest, scariest tiger in the whole jungle, Shere Khan."," ROOAARR!", Ranjan said as you get scared. Then you see Ranjan jumping at the shadow saying "You stay away from Mowgli, you mean old tiger, or I'll tie some fire to your tail and burn your butt!" Then suddenly he jumped at the cloth to attack the shadow till it started to fall apart. It went down then you saw Mowgli and your heart was filled with joy and laughter as you see Ranjan covered by the cloth. Ranjan was moving around roaring till Mowgli took the cloth off his face. "I got him, Mowgli. Did you see?" said Ranjan. "You sure did, Ranjan, but it's gonna be hard to finish the story now.", "But we all know how it ends," you get a bit jealous of how it ended. "Shanti blinks her big, beautiful brown eyes at you," You started to feel jealous and anger inside. "And you follow her into our village." Shanti said, "I did not.", "Did so!" Said Mowgli. You felt sad after Mowgli agreed. "Something was in my eye.", "Both of them?", "Well, you were so ugly, you made my eyes water." You got angry that she called Mowgli ugly. "Well, you..." Mowgli was stoped by a man saying "Now, now, we give thanks for Shanti's beautiful brown eyes." You rolled your eyes of disgust. "Without them, Mowgli would never have come into our lives." You start to feel bad that the people like having Mowgli in the village when you want him in the jungle with you and Baloo. "Come to think of it," He continue while going to his wife, "You used the same trick on me.", "And you still fall for it." she said. Everyone laugh including you but quietly. "Thank you for a wonderful story,
Mowgli." said Shanti's mom. "Goodnight, Mowgli." You get jealous of the way she says it. "Night, Shanti. Watch out for Shere Khan on your way home.", "You and your stories. Everyone knows tigers don't come into the village." You thought to yourself (she's dumb, of course Shere Khan will go into the village at night to get rid of Mowgli) "Tigers go wherever they want!" said Ranjan. You happily agreed with Ranjan. "Goodnight, boys." said Shanti's mom. "Tomorrow's gonna be so great." Mowgli said to Ranjan. "What's tomorrow?" the wife of the man said. They both said, "Erm... nothing.", "Uh-huh. Well, you'll need plenty of rest for doing nothing tomorrow. Off to bed." Ranjan starts to yawn while complaining,"We never get to stay up late." The man, who is his dad, picks him up and say, "Even wild beasts need their sleep." Then Ranjan starts to play around by pretending to be a tiger. "Help! Ferocious tiger!", "Goodnight, my little wild thing." You noticed has a look on his face that's full of sadness. It must because he never had a mom or dad just like you. "Goodnight, Mowgli."said Ranjan's dad as he hugged Mowgli. "Happy dreams." You felt a bit lonely of what's it's like to have someone to take care of you besides Baloo and Bagheera. "Erm...Goodnight, sir.", "Why do you always call him "sir"? His name's Pop." Ranjan said as he walks Mowgli to his room. "Hmm!" The dad said as he close the pot to turn off the fire. As the fire is gone you decide to sleep on the tree near Mowgli's house, wondering if he'll ever come back to the jungle.
