Felix's POV:

At first I couldn't tell if I was dreaming or awake. My body felt weightless and I was floating in the endless darkness surrounding me. My senses had abandoned me to the empty abyss leaving blind and deaf to the world around me. Oddly I found the nothingness comforting as it surrounded me like a safety blanket. The silence however, didn't last long.

My hearing was the first sense to return to me. Murmurs echoed around in the darkness, low and taunting like a sickening sirens song lulling me out of my peaceful non existence. The noises grew, morphing into voices and as they became louder an odd sensation flashed across my chest, almost like a painless burn. I wanted to lift my arms and rub the feeling away but they were still dead weight at my side.

No, not dead weight. My wrist, I could feel something tied around my wrist, pulling my arms down, binding me in place.

A chill crept up my neck as a feather light touch brushed by my ear in a soundless sweep and again the feeling returned to my chest. This time the feeling was all too familiar though, the pain was present and excruciating causing a soundless scream to bubble up inside of me.

No, damn it! Let go of me!

I wanted desperately to yell at the voices in the darkness as they became louder, clearer but just like before, my screams would fall on deaf ears; forcing me to relive my nightmare. As the voices and the noises grew, the pain did too, tearing the screams of agony from my throat before I could stop them and cut after cut, hit after hit landed across my body.

Please! Please just let me go! Make it stop!

It faded just briefly before a jolt, sudden and sharp, shot through my chest and into my heart, pulling me back into the pain.

"You'll never escape me." He laughed in my ear as the pain grew ten fold, rocking up my spine.

Why? Why are you doing this?

I wanted to beg, to demand an answer. Why did he have to do this to me?

"My precious little toy."

His voice was a whisper, fading now, the pain fading with it as the darkness drew closer, once again consuming my senses and cutting me off from the nightmare world around me.

Time seemed to drag on. I couldn't tell how much had passed. The pain never returned; nor the voices. My senses did begin to return again but this time it was mostly just the cold. My body felt like ice being weighted down by a lead sheet. The strangest smell followed the cold, a combination of disinfectant and the woods. It smelled clean and dirty at the same time. Sometimes the smell of the woods would become stronger, bringing with it a small amount of warmth that fought away the cold for a brief amount of time before it would fade again.

Drifting in and out, I noted that other senses were coming back to me, the warmth becoming stronger, more focused. I could feel the heat crawling up my left arm, engulfing the hand completely. Now and then quiet deep whispers would echo near by but I couldn't make out what they were saying. The pain came back but it was more of a dull ache that spread across my whole body.

"How... longer?" A voice asked from somewhere at my side, the words fading in and out as I struggled to focus.

What? Who's there?

"...Idea....Trapped in....Has to fight...," This time the voice was different, farther away and softer.

The warmth around my hand vanished and there was a scraping sound, like a chair sliding across a hard surface. Thumping, a pattern of hard thumping grew quieter at it moved away from me. Foot steps?
