Chapter 21

My POV

            “Nope, definitely not” I say hanging up my phone for the third time. I can’t get thru either he is ignoring the phone by letting it ring or he is out with the pack. I sigh and sit down. Booboo comes and sits next to me putting his arm around me.

            “It’ll all work itself out, I promise” He says kissing my temple. I say nothing what can I say? I know it will because we are destined to be together, but nobody else but the pack knows it.

            “Yeah, I guess you’re right” I finally speak.

            “I had such a great time. So sad I have to leave so soon” I said outside of my house as Travie was getting everything into the car.

            “You don’t have to though” Demi whines and I laugh

            “I really do Dem, I have things I have to get done back home and Seth and I have things to talk about” I say

            “Damn you” Fivel jokes and we all laugh sadly. We never really know when we’ll all be together again. All of our schedules are constantly always booked up; especially Justin’s him and his lame butt. I finish hugging them all and walk to the car waving sadly and blowing a kiss to them all. They all pretend to catch it and put it in their pockets. I giggle slightly as I get into the back of the escalade. I am being Alyssa-Marie today meaning I need security and what not.

            We arrive at the airport and instantly are surrounded by my Wishers. That is the name I have given my fans because I want them to wish as much as they want and make whatever they wish for to make reality also known as Team Marie. I smile and wave as the escalade comes to a stop. I hop out opening the door for myself, what? I’m human. I have hands I am capable of opening my own door. I wave and quickly sign a few autographs and take a couple of pictures before being escorted in by my brother and the rest of my security.

            We go thru everything when have to fly. (I have never been on a plane so idk how it really works at an airport.)

            “Ready?” Travie asks and I nod uneasily not sure if I really am ready to go back or not. Getting away was nice didn’t have to deal with any problems or bull while I was gone. We land and I put my shades and my hood of my sweater on and walk off the plane. I hear screaming all the way from the airport because of course they don’t allow anyone but staff personnel back where the planes go for safety reasons which, makes complete sense. We walk to the airport and walk in getting our luggage and start our venture thru the crowd and my fans.

            Travie gets into the back of the escalade with me as we drive a little ways because of course I don’t want anyone knowing I am in Washington so I fly to Portland, Oregon. Drive a bit switch cars where I become just plain old Alyssa-Marie Crystal Black. I fly to Port Angeles and drive the rest of the way to the rez its how I normally do it.

            About an hour and a half later we arrive in La Push. We drive into the muddy driveway. Once the Travis stops the car I slowly open the door and get out. I take a huge breath in smelling the pine and the mud and rain and the forest just plain fresh air unlike Los Angeles where you smell all the gas and pollution and everything, but it’s still my home. I love that place. Since we never told anyone we were coming back today we are surprising everyone, but Jacob because I texted him to make sure what everyone is doing today and it turns out everyone will be Sam and Emily’s place for a nice little barbecue. Including my uncle, and Sue as well.

            I use my spare key I have been given when I first moved in to get in. We walk upstairs placing everything in our room not bothering to unpack because we want to hurry and get to Emily’s to surprise everyone.

            I nod “Yeah” We walk downstairs. “I want to drive” I say so he throws me the keys and gets into the passenger seat. I put the car in reverse and we slowly drive down the dirt road right next to the forest. Within a few minutes we get there hiding the car in the trees to make sure it was unseen by everyone. We instantly walk to the back as we hear laughing and just the whole crew.

            We walk into site

            “Sounds like everyone is having fun” I yell so everyone can hear me over the rumbling of laughter and what not.

            “Oh my gosh Alyssa” Leah squeals I laugh and she runs to me giving me a huge hug. We start to sway just being dumb and having fun.

            “Why didn’t you guys say you would be back so soon?” She asks

            “I wanted to surprise you guys” I say and everybody comes up to us and gives us hugs the only one who doesn’t is Seth of course, but why should he he’s probably still pissed. He walks into the house and I follow.

            “Seth” I call.

            “In here” I hear and I walk into the living room. I see him just sitting there on the couch looking at the TV, but watching nothing.

            “Seth babe, I’m sorry about what I said before I left. You know my mouth just has no filter” I admit. He stands up and looks at me.

            “Stop using your damn mouth as an excuse” Seth says. I am taken aback he has never spoken to me like that it’s new.

            “Excuse me?” I ask giving him a chance to repeat himself and change his attitude and words toward me

            “I said Stop using your damn mouth as an excuse” HE repeats.

            “Haa, okay I’m not perfect so don’t get it twisted”

            “Really now? I tried calling four damn times always got your voicemail that you can control”

            “I was in the audition watching I left my phone in the car” I lie, feeling horrible for lying, but what other choice do I have?

            “That’s your excuse?”

            “You know what Seth, I’m not gonna fucking argue with you alright. I’m apologizing but apparently you don’t want it. So I’m going back outside to hang out with the pack once you change your attitude towards me you may come near me otherwise keep your distance” I spat at him and walk out of the house pissed off, but I’m not gonna let it get to me. I have no work, no training no anything today so I am just going to enjoy the day.
