The redness of the sky had just morphed into dark blue, as the car sped down the empty bypass. We were nearly back into my home town and we weren't planning on going home.

Before we left, Robert told us he was going to be at Gina's and we needed to see him. We needed to expose that Gina was in on this and we needed to know where Daniel and Craig were keeping the children.

After awaiting for what felt like eternity, the car rolled up Gina's street and I didn't hesitate when getting out.

I sprinted up to Gina's door and hammered upon it adamantly.

I tried to recall everything Marlo said. I was adamant he said that Gina was one of Kevin and Daniel's siblings. Then when he left, he had asked about the retracting of my statement.

I felt guilty for lying but he deserved it. I remember hearing the disgust in my voice when I was departing: 'You killed Megan, you think I'm gonna get you out?'

Suddenly, the door edged open. I was waiting to see Gina and pelt her with what I had rehearsed in my head in the car. About Joe, Daniel, Craig, my daughters and Robert.

Except, it wasn't Gina at the door, it was Rob.

"Robert you have to listen to us," Emma was just joining me up the steps. I presumed Yasmine had stayed in the car with Callum.

"What are you doing here, it's about 11," Robert inquired.

"Where's Gina?" I asked.

"She's out, why?"

"Listen, we went to see Marlo and it turns out Kevin's brother Daniel, who was Megan's boyfriend is holding the kids hostage." It all came out in a big ramble.

"Where? We have to get them!" Robert was moving out of the door.

"We don't know where but we know who will know. Gina is Kevin's sister," I spoke. Roberts eyes widened.

"You just don't want to see me happy do you? You've tried to get us to split up long enough!"

"He's telling the truth!" Emma joined in.

"Oh here goes stumpy," Robert insulted her with hate in his words.

Suddenly, Emma's hand had swiped around Roberts face faster than he could say 'im sorry'. With the slap causing silence, she began to cry and rushed down the steps.

"You cruel fucker!" I shouted. With this, I used my hands to push him back inside the house.

"Dont push me!" He returned the push, sending me tumbling down the steps. Luckily, I hadn't landed in a bad enough position to cause any fatal harm. My elbows and hands were grazed and bleeding.

The last I saw of him was his back returning in the house and the door slamming shut.

The car journey was silent. We had earlier decided that we'd sleep at Yasmine's house, her husband being in Portugal at work, so we could keep Callum safe.

Once we pulled up, we decided to migrate to the living room where we continued the silence. That was until Emma's phone began to ring.

She looked at the phone before showing it me and saying "oh no".

Flashing on her screen, Charlie's face smiled. She shot me a worried look.

"What shall I do?" She pleaded.

"Answer it," I replied hastily, "see what he has to say."

She rapidly exited the room into the hallway where she answered her phone and talked lowly.

"What's happened with her and Charlie?" Yasmine inquired.

"Alot. You didn't hear this from me, but..." I waited to see if Emma could hear, "She's pregnant."

Yasmine gasped. She also knew it was a miracle for Emma to become pregnant. Even the doctor said that.

Emma returned to the living room, an anxious look on her face.

"What's up?" I sincerely asked.

"He wants to see me. Now."
