I reached into my purse before locating my keys and unlocking my door, but it was already unlocked. I never leave my door unlocked. I was cautious when opening the door to find the television on and the microwave going.
Beep.. Beep.. Beep!
"Aw, that damn food! It's just getting to the good part! Oh, hi Tina!"
I jumped, then realized it was none other than Christian, my very best friend in the whole wide world!
"How the hell did you get in here?" I practically screamed at him.
"I have my ways." He replied slyly.
I glared at him and resumed putting my office coat and purse on the table.
"Okay, fine! I know you keep a spare key under the ashtray that's on the porch table," he huffed.
I smiled. I don't know why I keep the ashtray. I don't smoke. I guess it's because a few of my close friends do. Hmm.
"Well, anyways, what are you doing this afternoon?"
I wasn't sure if I was going to do anything.
"Uhm.., I didn't have anything planned," I shrugged.
"Good, I want you to come with me tonight," he smiled slyly.
Oh, God, him and that smile. That evil smile of his always gets me nervous. The first time he used it with me, he pretty much forced me to go skydiving with him. Second time, we went on fear factor. Guess who was strapped down with spiders crawling on her? Yeah, me!
"Please don't tell me you've made us an appointment for anything scary," I rolled my eyes and turned away to head to my room.
My four bedroom townhouse was in a duplex style, with beautiful cherrywood floors and a STONE FIREPLACE! When I saw this house, I knew I had to get it. I did renovations, changing the light-stained cabinets to cherrywood, updating appliances, as well as taking out the carpet in every room except for the upstairs lounge/den/office, although I did make sure we get rid of the original to replace it with a softer, fluffier carpet. Oh, how I loved the place. I also had a finished basement, with no windows, but light fixtures with settings. Ooh!
"Tina!" I heard, "come here!"
I turned around and was greeted with a very angry Christian.
"What's wrong?" I asked, sort of cowering under his tone.
"Don't you ever do that to me again!" He scolded and turned off, shutting the French styled doors behind him.
What was that? I never had seen this side of him. Why was he being like this?
I changed into black volleyball shorts and an oversized sweater that hung over my shoulder and black no-show socks. I was comfy.
When I walked out into my living room, Christian was leaning on his knees with his head in hands.
"Chris? What's...- what's wrong? I'm sorry for doing that, I didn't know it would upset you." I snuggled my 5' 2" body into his 5' 9" figure. I had to admit, he was gorgeous.
I was picked up and held to his chest- baby style. I felt safe in his arms.
"No, babygirl, I'm sorry for taking that tone with you. I'm taking you with me tonight because there are things you don't know about me. Really big things, and I don't want to lose you. You're like a baby sister to me. I love you," he whispered, cradling me.
"You've always been a big brother to me," I chuckled, "and that will never change. I love you, too."
We stayed like that for a half hour, before I feel asleep in his arms.

I woke up in my Cali-king bed with Christian sitting on the recliner in my room.
"Good afternoon, sleeping beauty," he sighed.
I sat up and got out from underneath the covers. It was so cold in that room! Geez!
I ran to the thermostat, turned it up to 77, then ran back to my room, jumping into my brother's arms.
"Hi," I smiled at him, taking his hand and leading us to my walk in closet (with curtains for doors. I loved it).
"What should I wear tonight?" I asked, nudging Chris's arm. He was behind me, his arms over my shoulders, his head beside mine.
I pulled out two skirts, a black leather circle skirt, and a navy high-low. Was that even in style anymore?
Christian pointed to the circle skirt.
"I was thinking that, too. Is there a theme?"
"Uh, lotta people choose black, leather, and latex," he shrugged.
What kind of messed up kinky fucking place was he taking me to?
I pulled out a black faux leather lace-up cropped halter top that cris-crossed across my back, sorta like the laces on a ballerina's shoes, if you will.
I tilted my head when it came to shoes.
"Help me, please," I motioned for my best friend.
He chose some Mary Jane platforms that were so comfortable, it was unreal.
I smiled at him.
"Wear sexy underwear," he snickered as he exited my room to let me change.
"Where are you taking me?" I called with no reply. Ugh.
I changed quickly, rushing out so that he could help me lace up my shirt, but he was tossing black things into a bag, all I knew were handcuffs. Was he going to hurt me? No! He wasn't, he never would hurt me... Would he?
"Chris...?" I let my voice be distant- nervous, "what were those?"
"Nothing. You need help with the top?"
I nodded.
"I don't hear nods."
"Yes, I do need help."
He nodded his head once, and I shuffled toward him, turning around so he could lace my top. He tied the top, no hesitation, which was actually quite surprising.
When he was done he picked up his bag and lead me to the car.
We drove for about an hour, arriving at about 9:40, to this weird unmarked club. This made me suspicious.
"Do you take... Drugs? Be honest with me, please." I pleaded.
"Oh, hell no! Not in my lifetime!" Cristian defended.
I trusted him and nodded.
My door was opened and I jumped, but I knew it was only Christian. He took my hand and told me to keep my head down.
A man at the door stamped my hand with black ink that said "immunity".
We walked in and I gasped out of disbelief and denial. No...
