The Olympians went quiet. The only sound that could be heard was the steady crackling of the hearth in the middle of the hall. The god dressed in a floral shirt, beach shorts, and sandals, with the dark hair, and sea green eyes, picked up his trident lying at his side, and pounded it into the floor.
"What has happened to my son?" Posiedon asked angrily.
The fates spoke in unison. "Nothing has happened. We have only come to tell you of what is to come."
"Explain", asked the grey eyed woman crowned in laurel.
"All of you are guilty, of changing the reality of this world. Not yet of course, otherwise we would be here to inflict punishment upon you all. Although, this story will be punishment enough."
"On with it then", said Zues.
The fates glanced at eachother to confirm what they were about to do.
Then they all spoke
at once saying,"Be warned. What you are about to hear will change everything. Time will be paused momentarily until you are finished. You may not leave until you all understand the mistakes you will make. We will summon the heroes. They must know of what is occuring here. Remember, read, and atone for your sins." With that said, they snapped their fingers, and dissapeared in a flash of white light. When the light dimmed, there was a crowd of demigods standing before the disgruntled olympians. When they realised where they were, a blond haired young woman with grey eyes, stepped forward and picked up the massive leather bound book off the floor, turned it over, and read the title. "The Seven Kingdoms of America. Mother why are we here?"
Athena looked down upon her curious daughter and said,"Apperently we have done something terrible, and we must read that book, to atone for our sins, as the fates said."
"What sins?"
"We are not sure my daughter. But the fates themselves made a visit and told us to read that book. Then they summoned you here. I guess, the answers we seek are in there", said Athena.
Percy Jackson, upon hearing that the fates made an appearence yet again, groaned and said,"The fates? Again? Why can't we have just have a break from prophecies and catastrophies? I mean really, I was just starting to settle down, and I've gotten in the habit of taking a nap every afternoon_ow!" The green eyed son of Posiedon gripped the back of his head in pain after Annabeth Chase daughter of Athena decided to stop her boyfreinds annoying and meaningless rant with a slap to the back to the head.
"Percy we have things to do and gods to apease. You know I love you, but really, right now your pushing my patience,"Annabeth said exasperated.
"Alright, Im sorry, but you know how frusterating this is, we just defeated the Titans and now we have to deal with whatever bullshit the fates have come up with now. I just want a break Annabeth."
I know. But right now we have to find out whats going on, and the best way to do that is to read the book. The sooner we read it, the sooner we can leave,"she said reassuringly.
With that said, Zues snapped his fingers and temporary high back chairs appeared, each one for the demigods present. Taking the book, Annabeth cracked it open, turned to the first page and said,"Chapter 1."
Heres a new chapter. Im really sorry for not updating. But here I am. I delivered. Hope you guys enjoy it. Comment on how I could improve the story. I apreciate it. Paul out.
