"Maria, come on. Come with us. You never go out." Alexa said to me.
"Lexa, you know I never go out. Maybe another time." I said.
"Please. I rarely ask for favors. Please." Alexa pleaded again.
"Hmm.. fine." I said.
"Yay! We will leave at 6 pm. Wear something sexy." Alexa said.
After work, I went straight home and got changed. By the time I heard Alexa's car outside I got my clutch and locked my door. As I got to her car, I noticed she had gotten quiet.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Nothing." She said.
When we came to the bar, it was packed.
"Come on, let's order some drinks."
"Let's." I said.
4 tequilas later.
"Come on, let's dance some more Lexaaaa " I said slurring.
"Maria, you have had enough. Come on, let's go home." Lexa said.
"Noooo" I said.
I stood up and went to the dance floor. I danced and noticed someone put their hands on my waist. I looked up to the most handsome man I have ever seen.
"You are so handsome.. who are you?" I asked.
"I'm Kade Alegrio. And you are?" he asked.
"I'm Maria Lee." I said.
"Maria, I know this is weird to ask you this... but will you marry me?" Kade asked me.
"What?" I asked.
"Will you marry me?" He asked.
Me being the drunkard I am... I answered with a...
"YES." I said.
We left the bar and went to the nearest jewelry store to purchase the engagement ring and wedding bands. We went to the nearest chapel and was wed there.
When we came to the hotel... the clothes were discarded and it became steamy. (A/N: I'm not ready to make s** scenes yet. I'll just leave it to your imagination.)
Sleep came not long after.
The Morning After
"Ohhh fck... my head hurts." I said.
I looked around and found myself not in my room and clothes discarded and when I looked at my left ring finger... I found a massive rock with matching two wedding bands on either sides.
I racked my brain for anything that I could remember...
I remembered that I got married last night..
FCK!! I got married to a guy I just met..
I got out of the bed and got into my clothes and ran to the door. I looked back at the guy still sleeping on the bed.. who is obviously my new husband.. I hope we never meet again Kade Alegrio.
I left and never looked back.
