The truth

*Hailey P.O.V*

              I watched as Alex fell and I caught him just as his head was about to hit the floor. "Alex?" I shook him lightly as other kids called the school nurse. I knew he was being awakened. This was 1 of the 3 stages that he would go through. And lucky for him this is the only time that would hurt.

              The other guys picked him up and brought him to the nurse's office. I followed since I owed him an explanation and I needed to make sure the process goes smoothly. Alex lay on the bed and I stroked his hair. I ran through what I wanted to say in my head. "Hey Alex so you're a vampire and some people want our blood and we need to run and make babies," I thought to myself. I blushed at the last part.

*Alex P.O.V*

              Where was I? The last thing I remembered was fainting. Now I am alone and I felt like there was fire burning inside of me. I see something. Hailey? She looks worried. Wait is she here? I need to see her.

*Hailey P.O.V*

           So far so good.In 2 more minutes he should awake and the first stage will be over and I need to talk to him. His eyes fluttered open as he looked at my face. I smiled and he sat up. "Hey," he said clutching his head. Oh yea side effects.

           "Alex I need to tell you something," Alex looked at me and I melted. Ahhh why does he have to be so hot? " We are pureblood vampires who are brewing a war between our kind and the high council who crave our blood and want to kill mankind so we need to run and continue our kind," I finished and he looked at me confused. 

               I sighed "I vampire. You vampire. Bad people want our blood. We need to run and make babies," I finished with my simpler explanation. He laughed at the last part. This is going to be hard to explain. "I understood you the first time I'm just asking. WHAT?!" he screamed/whispered. 

*Alex P.O.V *

            Hailey starts explaining everything. From being a pureblood to the High Council. I was still debating whether this was a prank or some sick joke. "Are you messing with me?" I finally asks. She sighs. "When you passed out you went through the first stage of rising. Did you feel anything hurt or felt like you were on fire?" she looked at me hopefully. "Wa-how did you know?" I asked as I recalled all of that.

             I went through the same thing when I was 5 years old. She smiled at me and I knew something bad is going to happen. "Wait you said first stage. There are more stages?" I groaned. "Yea two more but don't worry this was the only one that hurt," she smiled at me and damn was she cute.

            "Does this mean I can't walk during the day and be allergic to garlic?" I joked. She laughed.  "Oh those are not gonna hurt us since we are purebloods. The real vampires can't go in the sunshine and they want our blood to erase humanity," she continued. There was this passion in her voice as she spoke about her race and I could tell she was going to do anything to preserve it.

              "One question. Why didn't you bleed when you fell of your longboard the other day? You said we had blood," I asked remebering that day and smiled a little. "Our blood is not like human blood. Our blood is deep within the skin. The High Council has the tools to withdraw the blood from us. Without the blood we would die. And we are the last of our kind. Well us and my brother. Now we have to continue our race...." she said and I can tell she was uncomfortable with the fact that we had to 'mate'.

Hey guys. sorry for the late update. So now guys me and Geraldine have come up with a schedule.  There will be an update every Tuesdays and Fridays so we can quench your thirsts.
