Forgiving someone who really hurt you and your family is is really hard. For me, that someone is my Father. He murdered my mom, and committed suicide shortly afterwords. At that time I was 9 years old and I was at a friends house. We were playing hide and seek when my grandparents came to pick me up early. I was a little confused when they picked me up, but I did as I was told and left my friends house. As soon as we got inside the car they told me that my parents had died and I'd be staying with them for a while.
When I heard that I wasn't sure what all of it meant but I knew it wasn't good. Now I'm eighteen years old and I'm still living with my grandparents because I don't have enough money to but my own place. It's good enough for now because I've found Jesus and that's all I need.
