Chapter One

'' Maddy, Maddy wake up! ", My lips perched open as a small groan left them, ready to attack who ever decided to wake me up. Sunday morning is my day to sleep in until 4 PM and not worry about studies or work, instead I have to deal with my little brother today.

I swing my hand hitting him directly in the chest, not hard enough to hurt him but enough to knock him off his balance causing a loud ' thud ' sound coming from my floor. Smiling I pulled my pillow over my face as I listened to the sound if him whining.

' Maddy, wake up come on now! ', I'm not sure if it's normal but I've always had this voice in my head, normally I ignore it but sometimes it just won't go away.

I felt one of my pillow being pulled from under me as it was swing in the air my hand swing up catching it as my head snapped towards what we call ' twat ' in my household giving him a stare, no a cold hearted icy glare.

He gave me a innocent smile as I rolled my eyes, tumbling from bed yawning.

" Hey bubba, here's the deal. You have Austin watch you and I'll give you a dollar! " she cheered clapping my hands together, praying he'd take the bait.

" Can't, Austin has work today. " he'd shrugged, for a 11 year old he was a true ass. I sighed standing up pushing him from my room, closing the door locking it.

Knowing him, he'd want to be taken to the park to play with Velvet. Opening my closet I grab a pair of pack tights and a low hanging Adidas Tank top, including my undergarments. Turning on the water I stepped in taking a quick shower putting on my clothes, blow drying my hair pulling it into a bun. Happy with my half life look I walked from my room to see Tristan at the dinning table talking with mum.

" Tristan come on, Mum isn't in a good shape right now. ", she was an acholic and all three of bus were mistakes my Nana never let her abort any of his, sadly I ended up being the middle child. Taking his hand he skipped along with me out the door, closing it behind me.

The park was just across the street, so I went for a daily run no matter the weather. I was our school's best softball pitcher and cross County runner they've had in years, and I've never known how. My mother wasn't a athletic woman, my brothers both have asthma but me, I have not a signal problem.

Letting go of his hand he ran directly to the sand box where a few of his friends from school were. Smiling I took my ear buds from my pocket plugging them up to my phone then my ears playing Shawn Mendes's nee album.

My legs took off as if I were a rocket, beginning with a Jog quickly into a full out sprint without any problem. Looking down I smiled switching songs, as my legs flew from under me.

' THUD! ', I literally could hear it, twice. Rubbing my bottom I look up straight ahead seeing a tall, young man. Maybe in his late 20's.

" Oh dear heavens! I am so sorry sir, please excuse me! I didn't see you there truly. ", quickly my body jumped without a problem offering my hand. He only fixed his shirt brushing it off before giving me a light glare before perking his lips, his voice low and husky. " Watch where your going next time. ", walking away.

' GO AFTER HIM YOU STUPID LITTLE BITCH! ', is all I could hear while I watched him walk away. God I really need to go see someone about this head thing and me hearing a voice. Shrugging I put my ear buds back in my ear taking back off, this time keeping my eyes ahead of me, " Damn, if only I were a supernatural being I'd pray to their god for jim to be my mate. "

I smiled to myself at the ignorant thought I had out in my mind as I looked over to make sure Tristan was alright. I stopped in my place seeing he was gone, " TRISTAN?! "
