"And one, and two and Mack, that's your cue, and... wonderful!" Mr. Jet boomed, waving his hands in the air, as I ran into a round off, then a double back hand spring, then an arial( a cartwheel with no arms ), and last but not least, a backflip into a front split. Abby and Christina then came by my side, and each grabbed one of my arms, lifting me up on my feet. They cart wheeled away, as I brought my leg level to my head. I then sprinted towards Moses, who is one of the best boys in class-and I have to admit is pretty cute- and leaped into his arms once I was about four feet away from him. He caught me by my waist, which was just above his head. "Bea-UTIful! Great job!" Mr Jet spoke, before placing his hand back on his stubbly chin. "Nice catch," I whispered as quietly as I could. He spun me around in the air, my legs curled up into a ball. "Thanks," he spoke absentmindedly as he set me down. "You ready?" I smirked at him. "YOU ready?" He smiled, and grabbed my waist again. I bounced on my knees a few times, and Mr. Jet spoke as I bounced. "And one, and two, and THREE!" On the last bounce, I jumped into the air,-with the help of Moses- and twirled a few times. He cautiously caught my foot, and I balanced in the air, sticking my leg out behind me. "INCREDIBLE! INcredible! Do you see this girl?" I blushed deeply as Mr. Jet rolled up his magazine and hit himself on the head with it. Once Moses put me down, we danced over to the other girls, who were each tap dancing away in sync on the wooden floor. Then Christina, Jolene, Beth, Moses, and I all sat in splits in the middle of all of the other people, who were striking poses.

I stuffed my pointe shoes into my tie dye bag, then took a swig of water before running up to my friends. "Hey guys!" I spoke, then drank some more. "You guys aren't nervous about our performance this Saturday?" Abby asked, hugging her legs to her chest, and resting her chin on her knees. I shook my head and set down my water bottle. "Nah. Not really." Moses shook his head in agreement, as Abby sighed. "I would be nervous. Especially about that jump!" She grabbed her bag and started trotting away. "Your sister is still picking us up right?" She peered over her shoulder. "Yup!" I sat down in a split, and started stretching. "Good! See you guys outside!" She called, as she jogged over to Christina who was blabbing with Mr. Jet.

I shifted my weight from one foot to another, trying to stay warm in the bitter air with just a leotard and tights on. I knew I had no right to complain, though, because Abby didn't even wear tights because she was allergic to polyester. A blue truck soon pulled up in front of the gray cracked sidewalk, the wind harshly tugging at my skin. The window rolled down to reveal my sisters smiling face. Her wavy brown hair fell at her shoulders, with shiny blue eyes and soft peach skin. "Does someone need a ride?"

On the way home, we stopped at Dunkin Donuts to get hot chocolates, which felt really nice on my tongue. Once we got back to be house, I grasped the cold door handle, forgetting that I wasn't wearing gloves. I flinched, and pulled my hands back, then blew into them, sending a burst of heat through my palms. I stood outside the door for a few seconds, then quickly built up the courage to open the ice cold door. Once I stepped inside, I immediately kicked my off dance shoes, -which by the way were squeezing my feet like ice skates- and ran upstairs with Abby to change.
