<£*£>What was it that excited me the most? The friends? The classes? The boys? I didn't really know. Even though Christmas wasn't the best, I still had high hopes for school. Little did I know, that would let me down more.

As I walked into the bushy school, I noticed a lot of people were standing at the big fence blocking the school from the bus stop. As I walked through the gates I heard my name, instantly I looked around. When I turned around I got a big hug from Gwenda and Maria and all my other friends were over at the table. I quickly walked over to them with my oversized bag and hugged every single one of them.

As the bell rang loudly, we all walked to the hall. As we walked into the large building no one was there, and then they all ran in. A stampede of year sevens. I sat in my assigned line and looked around to see all of new faces. As I stared at all the people, a girl with curly brown hair sat behind me. She looked like she wasn't even in year seven. I turned back to the front when the principal started to speak.

Finally the boring parade was over. It didn't explain anything only the rules! I walked by myself only to have Hannah run beside me. "Have you met justice yet!?" She happily said. "No" I replied confused. That's when I saw the curly haired girl who sat behind me! Wow she was tall. I introduced myself and she did the same, we then went to first period. That was History! As we hobbled into the class room I noticed everyone was already there. They all turned around and stared, one of them caught my attention. He had medium length hair with the sides cut, his hair was dark brown and he had light blue eyes. I sat down next to him shyly. We didn't say anything to each other at first , but that was ok.

I glanced over at Maria, Hannah and Justice. All of them smiled, Maria winked at me gesturing for me to talk to him. "Hi What's your name?" I asked barely above a whisper. "Jackson what's yours?" He replied below his breath. I quickly turned around when I felt all the eyes on me, "Sridhi!" The teacher yelled. "Be Quiet!" She continued. My cheeks filled with redness and I lowered my head to look at my legs. "Don't worry, she's not the nicest teacher in the world" Jackson sighed, "yeah obviously" I chuckled. Suddenly the bell rang. I slowly packed my stuff up and walked out of the classroom. I knew I was in for a long journey already, high school was not like I imagined.

I ran over to justice after I walked out of the door. Suddenly she stopped and looked at me, "HEY!" She said, I jumped off my feet startled. I looked over at her and saw the biggest smile on her face, "um hey" I replied awkwardly. The conversation came to a end when we saw everyone. Justice walked over and said hi to everyone. I walked over and sat by myself. As I scanned my lunch box I pulled a sandwich out of my bag. I watched as justice walked off to sit with her friends. The lunch went by quickly though.
