~ten~ Will You Go To Homecoming With Me?

>>Ava's POV<<

Today was the day that the boys in school were going to be asking girls if they wanted to go to homecoming with them. I know Cameron might like me but I don't know if he will ask me to homecoming with him.

Obviously Jack is going to ask Madison to homecoming...and she's going to rub it in my face as usual, but I won't let her get to me.

Because she doesn't know what's coming for her, in the next few days.

"Oh my gosh AVA AREN'T YOU EXCITED?! Cameron is totally going to ask you to homecoming," Arielle beams with excitement.

I just pick at my food. "I don't know, what if he doesn't guys?"

"trust me! He will! After that date he is probably head over heels for you now, besides we need him for the plan at homecoming." Kassie says.

"you're right."

"but at the same time, we don't need a guy to do it. but if he does ask you and you guys go together if would be even better. So he can be super jealous and know what he is missing out on." Arielle explains.

"true...well I guess we'll just have to see what happens." I sigh.

The bell rings and breakfast is over...now it's time for my stupid classes of the day.

1st period.

"Pssst...Ava!" Stassie whispers to me and I look to my right. She's trying to tell me something.

"Yeah? What's up," I answer.

"Are you going to homecoming with anyone," she asks curiously.

I am confused. "Um no..as of now I'm not...uhh are you asking me to go with you?"

She laughs. "What the heck oh my gosh no. Besides I'm going with Sammy anyway. I just wanted to ask.."

"Why?"

"Oh no reason just curious," she says suspiciously, then goes back to her work.

Why is everyone acting so weird today

Suddenly I look to my left and Nash even wants to get my attention.

"Hey Ava? Can I uh ask you something," he says nervously.

"Yeah sure go ahead."

"Are you already going to homecoming with somebody or not?" He asks.

Ok something is definitely going on

"Umm no...but can I ask you something?"

"No, I already know what you're going to ask." He says, smiling.

"I'm going to ask you anyway because you guys are acting wei-

"Sorry gotta get back to work I don't want to get in trouble," he says, cutting me off and going back to his work.

Unbelievable...

I look around the room and Cameron doesn't seem to be here. Looks like he won't be asking me to homecoming...

*****
Lunchh.

"guys i haven't seen cameron all day. what if this doesn't work out?" I'm now so hopeless about going to homecoming with him because now the chances of going with him are so slim.

"its ok Ava. even if he doesn't ask you it's all good."

Suddenly after those words Kassie and Arielle gasp and start smiling like idiots.

"what?"

They don't say anything.

"What the f*ck Guys?!? What are you smiling about?" I say almost yelling.

"turn around and see for yourself."

I slowly turn around and as I look I gasp.

Nash and Anastasia were standing beside Cameron while they were holding bouquets of roses and Nash held a stuffed giraffe animal.

Cameron held up a poster that said "You Giraffe Me Crazy Will You Go To Homecoming With Me?"

He was smiling widely at me and I returned the smile back.

I decided to joke around with him and I told him "im sorry I can't..."

"it's ok I understand," he said looking disappointed.

"IM JOKING SILLY! Of course I WILL GO, I'll totally go to homecoming with you Cameron!"

He looks stunned. "wait really?"

"Yes of course!" I say, I then jump into his arms and hug him. He hugs me back and all of a sudden I hear the cafeteria clapping and cheering.

We finally pull out of the hug and i see jack in the background and he looks jealous. I just smirk at him and to spice things up a bit I pull Cameron close to me and kiss him and he returns the kiss back. I can now hear Kassie and Arielle screaming like crazy behind me.

Homecoming is going to be fun 😉

•Jack's POV •

I look to Ava and Cameron and I just can't help but feel a signal of jealousy come over me. I also feel hurt. The girl of my dreams is going to be going to homecoming with the boy I absolutely loathe. If only she knew the kind of person he really is...and what hurts the most is when I saw her kiss him.

I don't care about Madison, she's the least person that I would ever care about..I know I sound like a douche but I'm only using her to forget about Ava which I know won't be happening anytime soon. She was my first love and will always be my love, because I never stopped loving her. I know I'm dating Madison but I don't care that I am.

I will do anything I can to win Ava's heart back. And that starts at homecoming. So be ready Cameron because there's no way I'm giving up now.

Omggggg! What did Jack mean when he said "if only Ava knew the kind of person he is?"
