Lashton- Happy Birthday Ash

HI GUYS i havent updated in a while and im sorry its that i have a lot of preferences to complete and my mom freaking signed me up for some program so now i basically have school this summer and then on top of that i start actual school this year. but whatever i really dont give a shit anymore cuz she pisses me off sometimes but heres a special preference. my besfriend @believe_x0 gets credit for it bc she gave me the whole idea so here we go!

| Luke's P.O.V |

Today is my boyfriend Ashton's birthday and I'm planning something really big for him. The band and I are going out to eat and then I'm going to take Ashton out on a date. I was currently in my room getting dressed. When I was done I went downstairs and announced, "Hurry up, lads! We gotta go!" I got a chorus of 'okays' and opened the door. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and turned around to see the band coming towards me. We all got to the restaurant and sat down in a four-seater booth. I slid into the corner and Ashton sat next to me. I smiled at him and he smiled back as Calum and Michael sat in front of us. We ordered our food and loudly sang the birthday song which caused Ashton to blush while smiling and hide his face because a lot of people were staring at us. We all laughed and I kissed him on the cheek before we left.

| Ashton's P.O.V |

When we got back home, Luke sat down on the couch and I decided to mess with him. As I neared the couch he was sitting on, I yelled dramatically, "Oops! I tripped." I fell on top of him and he groaned before he started giggling. "You're a such a derp, Ash." He said. I gave him a playful glare and he made a kissey face at me before pushing me off of him. My bottom hit the floor and I groaned. "C'mon, Ash." He said as he pulled me up by my arm. "Where are we going?" I asked as I rubbed my butt. He smirked at me an tilted his head like a cute puppyl and said, "It's a surprise." He ran out the door and I followed him. The car ride was actually pretty fun. He had the radio blasted and we were just singing to random songs. At some point, 'She Looks So Perfect' came on and we gave eachother a look before singing loudly. Luke stopped the car and before I could look outside the window, he pulled my bandana down to cover my eyes. "Hey!" I heard him chuckled before saying, "Take it off when I tell you, okay?" I pouted and replied with, "Fine."

I pulled his bandana down to cover his eyes so he could'nt see where we were. I didn't tell Ashton but there was going to be fireworks in the area we are staying at because of the fourth of July. I also requested something to be done with the fireworks before we came here. I held Ash's hands and guided him to where we were going to sit. I looked to my left and saw the man who was doing the firework show waving at me. I smiled at him and gave him a thumbs up before saying, "Okay, Ashton. You can take the bandana off." "Finally." He said as he pulled the thing up to his hair again and looked around. "Where we at?" "Just sit and stop asking questions, babe." He huffed but blushed nonetheless. I sat sown next to him and we held hamds until the show started. We heard a loud boom and I shot my head up towards the sky and saw the nice colors of the fireworks. Ashton looked up and stared at the colors in awe. I looked over to the man and he gave me a nod indicating that it was 'time.' "Look, Ashton." I whispered to him and he looked up to see that the fireworks spelt out 'Happy Birthday Ashton! I love you' He looked at me and smiled widely before grabbing my neck and pulling me in for a kiss. Now I can actually say that I literally felt fireworks during this kiss. Ugh. I'm such a sap. Anyways, we pulled away and I looked him in the eye while whispering, "Happy Birthday, babe. I love you." "I love you too, Luke. Thank you so much." Ashton said while looking down. I lifted up his chin and kissed him again as the last round of fireworks went off.

i admit, i has to pause writing a few times bc lashton feels but yeah this was a preference for my sunshine, ashton. i just wanna say HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASHTON FLETCHER IRWIN!!!!
