A family can be the bane of one's existence. A family can also be most of the meaning of one's existence. I don't know whether my family is bane or meaning, but they have surely gone away and left a large hole in my heart
Making amends is not only saying the words but also being willing to listen to how your behavior caused another's pain, and then the really hard part...changing behavior.
What do these two things have in common absolutely nothing. If you were to ask me this a couple months back I would have said this pretty much sums up my whole life of growing up in a broken family, being chased by the media and having random people ask for my DNA to see if I was actually Princess Diana daughter. My family is so stuck up on tradition that they were willing to sacrifice my life twice in order for a man to be the next in line for the throne instead of me. I guess that's my life at the moment the forgotten child, the bastard of a baby, the one that's ruining the family image, the one who should've been aborted instead of adopted. Yup this is my life and this is the reason why I promised to make this family pay for everything they did to me being their Princes Undone.
