This teen was slightly taller than Yugi, but not by much. He wore tight, dark-wash designer jeans and a tight black tank top under a white unbuttoned shirt. A large, golden, Egyptian-looking triangular pendant hung loose around his neck. His pale skin ignited his crimson eyes, and his hair was tri-colored and spiked just like Yugi's. 'Wow. He's actually sort of.....beautiful.' Yugi thought to himself.

He froze. Stopping that thought dead in its tracts. Beautiful? Where the hell had that come from? He never thought that way about another man, EVER! Panicking he turned to the blonde boy to his right "Hey Joey, urm....who is that?" He asked, trying to non-chelantly point to where the other teens currently sat.

"Oh that's Bakura, Marik (both of whom scare the hell out of me) and the other one is Yami. They all live together outside of town. Pretty much keep to themselves. Except Bakura and Marik. They're dating Ryou and Malik but they are only seen together outside of school." Joey said, smirking.

"What about Yami?" Yugi asked.

"I don't really know. From what I hear, he refuses to date. I mean can you blame the guy? He's obviously good looking and he could have anyone he wanted. I'm sure he gets jumped on every day by his adoring fans, meaning the girls that practically follow him around everywhere he goes, poor guy. But no matter how hard they try, he just doesn't seem to notice them. He's also really quiet and keeps to himself. He only socializes with his family so nobody really knows anything about him except for Bakura and Marik. I've tried to get some information out of Ryou and Malik but no dice. So honestly, he's kind of a mystery." Joey replied, taking a bite of his sandwich.

Yugi stared at the teen, until suddenly his amethyst eyes locked with crimson orbs for a second or so. Orbs that held curiosity within them until he glanced away, turning his gaze back to the other two teens at the table. Yugi blinked, confused and faced forward in his seat. Had he imagined it or did he see interest in Yami's eyes? No, there's no way he could've possibly of seen that! Why would someone like Yami have interest in someone like him? Him! Someone who wasn't even interesting at all, completely boring!

Glancing back over his shoulder, Yugi's eyes met crimson orbs yet again. However, Yami's eyes didn't hold a look of interest or curiosity this time. Instead his brow was furrowed and his eyes were slanted in pure frustration, staring determinedly at the young teen as if confused by his existence. 'What is his problem? Why is he looking at me like I'm the last person he wanted to see?' But as quickly as it had happened, Yami's eyes released him and he turned away, speaking quietly to the others before they all suddenly rose up and walked out of the room, leaving their untouched food behind.

Yugi watched as they walked away, mesmerized by Yami's fluid movement. He hadn't realized his mouth had gaped open till Joey shoved a banana into it. "Mphm...mphm.....Joey! What'd you do that for?" Yugi asked through a mouthful mush, having had to bite off a rather large portion of the banana.

"Well, somebody had to be bring you back to reality." Joey laughed.

"What are you talking about?" The Hikari asked, confused.

"You were fantasizing about Yami over there weren't you?" The blonde sneered maliciously.

"What?!?" Yugi was astounded. He barely even knew this guy and here he was accusing him of day dreaming about someone he didn't even know. "You're crazy!" He shouted.

"Yami and Yugi sitting in a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" Joey laughed as he carried the tune, beckoning the others to join in.

Without thinking, Yugi raised his hand and balled up his fist. Before everyone knew it, the young teen planted a hard right hook on Joey's jaw. Taken by surprise the blonde fell back out of his chair, his head crashing hard on the tile floor. Grimacing he reached up with his right hand and grabbed the back of his head, rubbing it. "Hey! What'd you do that for Yug?" Joey grunted out.
