Punisher's Daughter

Enough: Part 1

'I don't know whether to thank Naruko or kill her.' Iruka and Ayame both thought while still blushing. The happy atmosphere soon darkens when a familiar voice says, "Teuchi, my family and I would like the usual." As soon as Naru saw her so-called parents, she ignored their existence. "Good afternoon, Hokage-sama and Lady Kushina." Iruka, Asuma, Ayame, and the older man Teuchi greeted them. Asuma gently nudged Naruko in the ribs, and she icily said, "Hello, Hokage-sama and Lady Kushina."

Shivers went up Minato and Kushina's spines when they heard their eldest daughter coldly call them by their titles. "Call us Otousan and Kaa-san." They both said to Naruko. "I don't have an Otousan or Kaa-san." She bluntly says before eating her ramen. And the entire time Naruko savored her food, Kushina and Minato stared at her. 'She's never called us Otousan or Kaa-san.' They thought with sad looks on their faces. As Kushina and Minato stared at the oldest triplet, Naruko ignored them. 'Why in the hell should I call them Kaa-san and Otousan? Those two have neglected me for years, and now they dare to tell me to call them mother and father! What a fucking joke! They're nothing but the egg and sperm donor.' Naruko quietly ate her ramen while ignoring her so-called parents' existence.

'Those two disgust me!' Kurama mentally says to Naruko. 'You and me both, Kura.' She frowned and quickly finished her food. "Asu-nii, Iruka-nii, let's go. We have a big day of training." The excited blond says with a grin. Her brothers nod, and Ayame hands the bill to Asuma. As soon as the older man saw the bill, his eyes widened. 'I love Naruko, but she's so expensive.' Asuma sighed as he dug out his wallet and handed the money to Ayame, who smiled. Minato and Kushina's interest was piqued; they wanted to see if Naruko was weaker than her brother and sister, so after Asuma, Iruka, and Naruko left, they followed them.

*At the Sarutobi's training ground*

Naru was attempting to walk on top of the water. "Dammit!!!" She loudly yelled, falling into a cold pond. 'She used too much chakra.' Her brothers thought while watching their sister swim to shore. When she made it to shore, the energetic girl looked madder than a wet hen. Asuma and Iruka laughed until she cut them both a go-to-hell look. "You used too much chakra, Naruko." Iruka pointed out, and she frowned. "Try tree climbing again," Asuma said while smoking. She nodded and walked over to a big tree.

Naruko pushes the chakra into her feet, then puts one foot on the tree before adding the other. She easily walks up the tree, unaware that her so-called parents are watching her with sad expressions. 'We've never taught her how to do that.' They both thought. Naruko runs up and down the tree until Asuma yells, "Now try walking on the water!" She walks down the tree and heads over to the pond. Once she arrived, Naruko focused on her chakra while determining how much she should use.

'If I use too much, I'll fall in the water again. And if you use too little, I'll still fall in.' The blond-haired girl thought quietly. 'Try using the same amount of chakra you used to climb the tree earlier.' The mighty fox mentally suggests to her. Taking his advice, Naru directs the same amount of chakra she used for the tree climbing exercise to her feet. She carefully puts her foot on the water, and when it doesn't sink, she puts her other one on top of the water and starts walking across the pond with a smile. "Asuma-nii, Iruka-nii, I did it." Naruko happily cheered.

"We are so proud of you, Imouto." Her brothers said with pride in their voice. They knew that Naruko could do it. Minato and Kushina watched as the two men hugged the small girl. Sadness and guilt were what the Hokage and his wife felt when they saw the happy scene. They tried to remember when they trained Naruko, but they soon realized that they never prepared her. All the times the eldest Namikaze triplet asked them to train her was answered, "We will train you once you begin the Academy. Right now, we need to train your brother and sister." One day, she just stopped asking them to train her, and she acted very cold towards them.

As they were looking back, they remembered all of the times that they excluded the eldest triplet from family outings and trips. Minato and Kushina only had happy memories of Menma and Narumi. They barely had any happy memories of Naruko, and their only memory of her was when they both accused their eldest of lying about the villagers. They both slapped and hit her before they locked her outside of the house. 'What have we done?' They guiltily thought.
