Dear Diary,
Today was another hard day. Dad went to work sheering sheep and me and my three sisters helped Mum around the house. We woke up early and my sisters and me went out to milk the cows and feed the animals. Then we came back inside and I helped Mum make breakfast for all of us. After breakfast my sisters went to their rooms to go and get ready for school while I helped Mum clean the kitchen. Once I finished helping Mum I quickly got ready for school and my sisters and I walked to school. It took us half an hour to walk to school.
After our walk home from school I told Mum about how my day went and what I learnt at school. My sisters did the same thing, as usually they like to copy me. Not much later, Dad came home from work and he would tell us about his day even though it was pretty much the same thing everyday. He would always start his conversations by say something like “Today at the shed of the sheep’s” or “Alleluia I am king of the sheep”. He always likes to be funny but it never works.
After Dad had finished with his stories of how his day went, he went to the bathroom for a bath while I helped Mum make dinner and my sisters did their homework. Once we had completed dinner I went for my bath and then my sisters. Mum was the last to have a bath. While my sisters and Mum were having their baths I did my homework with help from Dad because he is smart. After Dad had helped me with my homework and I had finished it, my sisters and me went to sit in the lounge room with Mum and Dad to listen to stories about their childhood. Once their childhood stories were finished my sister and I went to bed, to get ready for a new day.
Goodnight Dairy.
