Prolouge

Reader's POV
I was playing around in the forest with Mike. We would do things like tag, fetch, and hide and seek. He'd always win at that though since he could smell me with his nose. I then heard my mommy call me from the mansion. I wasn't supposed to be out here 'cause she was worried I would get taken.

When I got to the front of the mansion mommy was there with My older brother Kalluto. (I honestly thought he was a girl) "Y/N what were you doing in the forest you know you're not supposed to be out there," mommy said. "Sorry mommy I was just bored of doing nothing in the house so I decided to play with Mike," I said. "Well just don't do it again, anyways I wanted to tell you something," she said. "What is it mommy?" I asked. "You're going on your very first mission!", she said with excitement.

"Woah who do I need to go after I really want to go after them right now."

"It's a male named Deven that lives at *insert random address*."

"Ok mommy I'll go right now and make you and daddy proud!", I shouted as I ran to the testing gates. Once I was there I opened gate two. I greeted zebro and quickly ran to the destination. Once I got to the house I quietly went through the window. I went up the stairs and opened a door to see Deven sleeping on a bed. I manipulated my hands to make them as sharp as knives and stabbed his neck. "That was surprisingly easy, but super fun! I bet everyone will be proud of my first kill. But I kind of wonder do the people we kill deserve it. Everyone in our family does it so it should be fine." I went back through the testing gates to see my favorite brother Killua sleeping in the tree. I had this devilish idea pop into my mind.

I went back into the mansion to Killua's room and searched for his Choco-robos. I've searched everywhere and I couldn't find them. "Man, he really hid them good. I can't find them anywhere. Oh wait I haven't checked the drawer next to his bed. Gah! I'm so stupid." I opened the drawer to find only one box of Choco-robos. I opened it up then I heard footsteps coming to the room. I quickly shoved all the chocolates in my mouth and saw Killua enter.

"Y/N what are you doing in my room?" He asked.

"Nutthing." It sounded kind of weird 'cause of the chocolates in my mouth.

"What's in your mouth?" I just quickly swallowed the chocolates and said, "nothings in my mouth Onii-Chan." "Well it doesn't matter I'll just get some chocolate." "Wait Onii-Chan!" "What?" "U-um...I wanted to tell you I did my first mission today!" I said with excitement. He just ruffled my hair and opened the drawer. 'Uh-oh' I thought. "Y/N, can I ask why my chocolate is missing?" He asked with an angry face. I just ran out the room and through the hallways only to be stopped by Killua. Well he does have more skills then me since he is six years older than I am. "Welp you know what happens when you take my chocolate" he said with a smirk. He then started tickling me.

"AHAHAHA Onii-chan please stop!" I laughed as he kept tickling me.

"Alright, But next time will be longer" he said as he stopped. "Hey Y/N how about we leave this place?" "Um won't mommy and daddy be mad?" "Don't worry I'll protect you ok?" "Ok Onii-Chan." I went and got my backpack with my little skateboard in it. I can't do tricks on it like Killua, but I know how to ride it. Once I went out of my room Killua let me ride on his skateboard with him. We were riding through the halls only to be stopped by mommy and Milluki. Killua then stabbed mommy in the face and Milluki in the side. I felt tears in my eyes as we walked down the street. I didn't think I would have to see my family get hurt.

"I'm sorry you had to see piggy and mommy hurt" Killua said. I wiped my tears and yawned. Killua picked me up as I fell asleep. When I woke up Killua smiled at me. I smiled back at him and hugged him. "I love you Onii-Chan" he blushed a little and said he loved me to. "Onii -Chan where are we going?" I asked him. "The hunter exam. It's supposed to be really hard, but I'm sure we'll pass easily." "Yeah, and maybe we'll meet some kids our age." "Yeah hopefully." I haven't really talked to kids my age since they would always get scared of me since I'm an assassin. I've had one friend before he...well it doesn't matter anyway. I'm just glad I get to explore the outside world.
