I took off as the bus stopped in the station. He may be a stranger but to me, I feel like I've known him for a long time ago. I feel enlightened just bursting my rants to him and the thorns on my chest are removed. This is the strangest feeling ever but I wanted to talk to him more, given that he's rude but there is something about him that makes me feel light as a feather, I mean, I'm comfortable to talk to him. Okay, this might be the craziest night ever but..

"Sir? Can you stop the bus right here?"

The bus driver looked puzzled because he just drove a minute ago but he stopped even though he can't stop right here. I ran back to the bus stop hoping that he might be there and see him not for the last time, well, we occasionally meet in a mysterious way like all the time and it's a bad time. I was running crazily fast. As I get there, I looked around. Nothing, I guess I'll never meet him again as I want to. He didn't want to met me formally anyway so why even bother? Honestly, I wasted my energy and that was tiring, I got home at 3 am in the morning.

"What time is it?" Taya startled me when she suddenly said that as I closed the door, she was sitting while her arms are crossed and tapping her foot like a mother on T.V catching their child going home late at night.

"You know you're not my mother" I said to her, and went straight to the kitchen to find some milk,

"No, sure, I'm not your mother, but as a concerned blood relative cousin and a best friend,  I need to know why are you going home this late, lately?" she was following me to the kitchen, her voice was higher and louder and her face turned red in anger,

"I came home early," I said to her as I found the milk

"Don't play dumb with me!" she shouted,

"Shush! Don't you know how many people are still sleeping at this hour? And don't you mean 'don't be a philosopher?" I said

"I am serious, look, I know you can handle yourself and always telling me that no one will harm you because you looked like a boy but still, you're a girl! For god knows what'll happen to you!"

"Whatever Tay, I'm fine... and sleepy" I said when I was done drinking the milk straight to its container and walk to my room

"You're not fine Luka" she blocked my way and looked at me, "Then why is your eyes swollen?"

"I don't know, lack of sleep? Just let me rest in peace, will ya?"

"Oh yeah? Well, tell that to your dad"

"Tay, for goodness sake, I'm a fucking grown ass lady, dad has nothing to do with me now"

"Oh no, but he's calling me"

Taya showed her phone and confirmed that dad is really calling. Augh! She told dad something, Imma beat her ass later. I took her phone and answered,

"Yeah dad, I'm totally fine!"

"You know how tough I am!"

"No man shall ever harm your princess, yeah, totally cool dad! Yeah, okay, bye!"

Those are my words for him so he wouldn't bug me from time to time.

"Wait, someone took your bag?" Taya asked that her eyes widened

"Gosh! That was one day ago, I'm still whole Tay, sheesh"

"You see, that's why I worry too much! That's it Luka! I'll pick you up everyday from work"

"Augh! You're beginning to annoy me Tay, why are you being persistent?"

"Just admit the fact that you still can't handle things without me, you're still dependent"
