To live or not to live (Eddsworld adoption fic)

Proper introduction

    (OUTDATED WRITING!! Currently reworking the fic as of now.)

  I woke up finding myself on a couch with a pillow and blanket. I turn to my side and see one of the friends, the green hoodied one to be exact. He looked at me and saw i was awake, he had a worried expression on his face.

"Your awake! Are you ok? Hurt?"

His empathetic eyes looked at my hopeless filled ones.

"Im fine.."

"You sure, do you need anything?"

"I am ok don't worry."

Suddenly another one of his friends came in, he wore a blue hoodie.

"Kind of hard not to worry, you literally almost jumped off a bridge, you ok kid?"

"I-im fine, where am i though."

"Our house, where are your parents?"

"My parents kicked me out so they can pay taxes more easily."

"Thats messed up, it would have been at least good enough to put you in foster care."

I then heard the last two friends of their group enter the room, one in red and one in purple and a green overcoat.

"I see the kids awake."

The red hoodied man spoke in a strong accent, i assume norwegian. He walks over to me and sits down next to me.

"So, why are you trying to jump off of bridges?"

"Im homeless, no friends, no family, besides theres no point anyway."

His expression showed concern and worry.

"What's your name?"

"(Y/n)"

"Im Tord, green is Edd, purple is Matt, and the eyeless freak over there is Tom."

"So you said your homeless, do you have any idea on where to go?"

"No, there are no homeless shelters, orphanage is mean, and foster care is out of my reach."

"Edd can we keep them?"

Matt asked, Edd thought for a moment, he then looked at me.

"If you need somewhere to stay, i guess you can stay here if thats ok with you."

"I have nothing so i might as well."

"Well (y/n), welcome to your new home then."

For the first time in a long while, i felt safe.
