Elle

I think that this was one of the most boring days in the Glade (days when I was conscious). I just sat in my bed.

I was so bored that I once tried to stand up and go somewhere but I ended up falling on the ground because my head went dizzy again and my vision went blurry. I cried a little bit and stayed laying on the ground.

After about an hour, Jeff came into the room with a plate in his hands. I guess it was lunchtime.

"Oh, Elle, what have you done?" He said, put the plate aside and helped me up.

"I was bored and I wanted to do something," I said sadly, "but I fell, and... yeah..."

"Elle you can't stand up yet. You're too weak... You..."

"Weak?" I said indignantly.

"I mean... You can get your wound opened again by doing too many activities and that wouldn't do any good," he said little bit worried.

"Oh," I said and sat back down on my bed," but I'm so bored and everyone is working. What can I do?"

"Um... I don't know. You could..." he started to say but I cut him off.

"Notebook," I said, "bring me my notebook and pencils. You can bring me the book as well. It's all in my box next to my hammock."

"Um.... Where is..." he started to say but I cut him off again.

"Ask Chuck. He knows where my hammock is."

He sighed. "Oh, okay."

Then he handed me the plate he had brought.

"But you eat your lunch, I'll be back," he said and left the room.

I ate silently thinking about some random stuff. Soon enough, Jeff came back with my box.

"So... I didn't know what to take and I took everything," he said but didn't give me my things.

"What are you waiting for?" I asked him confused.

"You need to promise me something," he said.

"Promise what?"

"You won't get up while anyone is around or unless I or Clint give you a permission."

"I can't..." I started to say but he cut me off.

"Promise me!"

"You can't tell me what to do!" I yelled back.

"Elle!" He yelled too.

Suddenly my head hurt really bad and I almost fell to the side. I guess yelling wasn't good to me.

"Ugh... Okay, I promise," I sighed.

He put the box on the nightstand next to my bed.

"I'll go now," he said and left.

"Bye."

Immediately after he left, I groaned and laid down. My head hurt so bad I thought it was going to kill me. I placed my hands on my head and tried not to scream from the pain. It was so awful.

After a few minutes, which probably were the longest and most painful minutes of my life, it finally stopped and I drifted into a light sleep.

I woke up and felt like I haven't slept at all. I felt so exhausted. I sat up and tried to guess the time or how long have I slept. From my guesses and the position of the sun in the sky, it was still about midday. That means I've slept maybe for about an hour the most.
