Chapter 12

Reece's POV

After school Craig insisted that I go with him to the mall because he wanted these new Nike shoes. I didn't really feel like going since the incident at school. I really felt hurt when my girlfriend was saying all that to her I mean who was she to make Andreah feel worthless. Just because Gloria's popular and pretty doesn't give her the right to treat others bad.

"Slow down!" Craig shouted awaking me from my thoughts.

"Shit!" I swerved to miss colliding with that car.

"Where's your mind at Reece?" Craig asks inhaling deeply.

"Sorry I'm just thinking about what Gloria said to Andreah earlier, she was really upset, I feel bad like it's my fault"

"Nah dude don't feel bad just go talk to her and work things out"

"Your right" I agree. "I wish I had her number".

"Reece loves Andreah" Craig teases causing me to laugh.

"I don't love her idiot" I say which makes him laugh. I don't love her of course cos I barely know her but I cannot deny that I feel something for her, something I've never felt before. We've only hang out once properly so if I want to see her again I better talk to her first and make things right, I feel so bad about what Gloria said and after seeing her treat Andreah so badly I want to break up with her.

"Dude there's a spot right there" Craig points to an available spot in the carpark.

Andreah's POV

"See I told you the mall would cheer you up" Roxy said as I kept looking at all the sales like an addict.

"I want everything" I scream out causing people to stare at me. "Whoops too loud"

We all laugh and head into a store that sells things for males and females.

As I was browsing through the racks of clothes I heard some call my name.

"Andreah?"

I spun around facing Reece and Craig.

"Sup baby cakes" Roxy flirted once she saw Craig.

"Wow things escalated fast" I heard Reece whisper making me smirk.

"What're you doing here?" I ask him walking closer.

"This thing made me come" he pointed to Craig who was busy exchanging saliva with Roxy.

"Omg! This thing made me come too" I pointed at Roxy astounded. "And wow things did escalate fast" I added.

Reece smirked "Well now that your here wanna go get some milkshakes? I kinda want to talk to you"

I grin widely and nod. "Ok"

"Girls I'll be back soon". They nod continuing to shop around.

Reece took my hand in his as we walked towards a milkshake stand.

"What flavour do you like?" He asked as we queued in line.

"I like chocolate"

"Same" he smiles back making my heart go into a frenzy.

He ordered our milkshakes as I waited in the sitting in area they had. A few minutes later he walked to the table carrying our drinks.

"Thanks" I smile taking my shake from him.

"Your welcome"

I take a sip of the milkshake and it tastes so nice and chocolately.

"So what did you wanna talk about?" I ask taking another sip.

"About earlier I am so so sorry for what Gloria said I didn't know she'll be that rude to you, I just- I felt so bad" he said sympathetically.

"It's ok it's not your fault"

"I guess so but I don't want to be around someone like that anymore so I've decided I wanna break up with her" As soon as he said that I felt bad but also good because maybe in some weird twisted way we can be together.

"Um a-are you sure that's what you want.. I mean you don't have to do that because of me, I'll feel horrible"

"Nah it's not just because of you she's just horrible to everyone I mean at first she was nice and everything but then when she became popular it got to her head" he explains before taking a sip of his milkshake.

"Well I hope things go well" I say smiling.

"So your not mad at me right?" He asked with his big beautiful hazel eyes staring into mine.

"No I'm not mad at you"

"Good, cos I like us being friends" he smiles.

"Me too"

"Great so can I give you a ride home?" He asks with hopeful eyes.

"Id love a ride but I came with Roxy"

"Message her and tell her your coming with me" he said giving me a playful look like his daring me to.

"Ok"

He smiled standing up and came to take my hand. We walked outside towards his car.

As I got in I messaged Roxy telling her Reece offered to give me a ride home.

We drove to my house and he parked in my driveway.

We entered my house and by the looks of it my mom was working a night shift probably.

"You hungry? My mom has some leftover lasagne" I say to Reece.

"I'm good thanks"

"Ok" I mumble suddenly feeling nervous because I'm alone with Mr popular.

"Let's watch some TV" I said killing the awkward silence that was building up.

I sat on the couch with him sitting right next to me. It felt nice having him this close to me. I flickered through the channels until I chose the walking dead series.

Half way through the walking dead, Reece's ringtone blares through the room.

"Hello" he answers. "Gloria I need to talk to you it's important, can I swing by your house in an hour? Ok bye"

"Everything ok?" I ask.

"Yeah I'm gonna tell her when I see her, it's over".
