As Zach went through the portal, he started feeling light-headed and eventually passed out. While Zach was asleep, he saw things in his sleep that he felt, not just saw. He heard, he tasted, he smelled everything in his dream. It felt as though it was happening in real life. In the dream, he saw someone that looked like Daku but his clothing was torn, half of his staff was a glowing golden haze, and he had just thrown a mace through Zach's heart. He heard himself crying from far away and then he woke up.
When Zach came to his senses, he read the paper he found in the cell aloud so Mich and Rose could hear.
"Dear Zach, I know you probably will not read this until I am fully gone but I will write it now anyway. Zach, it's me, your mother. I know you will find me one day. I just don't know when.You were my first child and I have missed you so much and I have been meaning to talk to you but I don't usually have the chance to think for myself but I just want you to know I love you and all six of your siblings"
"Mom?" Zach said on the verge of crying. "She isn't dead. She isn't dead. I have a chance to meet my mom!" Zach said in a voice too loud for the silence that had accumulated while Zach was reading the letter. "Wait, six siblings?".
