Lost in the Woods

She ran through the dark night, trying to catch him. The only things which helped her see were the street lights on the side walk. She knew she could not catch him but she tried.
He beat her up to much.
She suddenly noticed he wasn't there anymore. She got lost in her thoughts once again. And now he's gone. Hidden from her in the night.

She struggled walking back home. Every part of her body hurts and it wouldn't stop. And again she was lost. After a few minutes of wondering through the endless night she found a save place. Even though it was just a small store that was still open. As she entered the store, the cashier rose his head from his magazine. He noticed the wounds and bruises on that poor girls body. He was too scared to get up and help her so he just sat there quietly... waiting and watching.

She searched her pockets for money. She could find enough money, for some things she needs, in her phone case. She began searching for water and bandages. At the end of the store stood a cooler. She took a bottle out and continued looking for bandages. She walked to the cashier as soon as she found them. The cashier still looked a bit frightened but she didn't care much. The casher scanned the items and kept an eye on the girl as if she is going to hurt him. "7.99$" he said. The girl gave him the money and left without another word or look.

After that the girl just stumbled through the night. She didn't know where to go not what to do. She came across a nightclub but didn't got in. In her current state it was too risky to get into another fight. So she ignored anything on her way. A few drunk man came up to her, asking if she wanted to come with them. She ignored them. Her mind was empty and the girl didn't had any energy left to argue with those man. She just kept on walking.

About an hour later he found her home. She was relieved that she found her way back without any more trouble.
The second she fell into her bad almost felt like a dream to her.
