*100 READS AND I'LL UPDATE*

Joe and Zoe just left the room because a doctor arrived. Niomi as asleep and I really didn't want to speak to him.

If he has news, it's probably going to be bad. Marcus hasn't woken up since the accident, that's not a good sign.

Just as Zoe and Joe left, Niomi woke up.

She looked up at me and gave me a grateful smile. She is just glad that she has someone with her at this very hard point in her life.

About 5 minutes later, Joe and Zoe came back in with a gloom look on their faces.

Uh oh. This can't be good.

"Uhm" Joe cleared his throat.

Then he began to explain what the doctor had previously told them. My heart sunk even more with every word. This is going downhill so quickly.

Niomi burst into tears as Zoe went over and engulfed her in a comforting hug.

If I could take away all her pain right now, I would, but I'm feeling the pain aswell.

I just got up and left the room. I couldn't be in this room any longer. It's too much for me to handle. I'm going to end up breaking down like Niomi did.

I walked the lonely corridors of the hospital, practially out of it.

I was seeing double of everything, swaying side to side. I felt like I was going to pass out.

I came across a little cafe where people were sitting eating biscuits or drinking tea.

When I had composed myself, I decided to go and have a seat.

I took a seat at one of the empty tables at the back. Away from everyone else.

A waitress came over and asked if she could take my order.

I stayed silent, looking around.

"Sir?" She repeated.

"Uhm" I stuttered, I couldn't think straight, "I'll just have a glass of water please"

She nodded and left to get my water.  I don't really want anything, just something to take my mind off everything that I just got told.

Just as she came with my water, Joe came running towards me.

"Alfie, I've been looking everywhere for you" He panted

"What?" I asked

"It's Marcus"

That's all it took for me to sprint to his room, hoping he was okay.
