You are never any less of a submissive, just because you are single. It took me a very long time to realize this. I am still a good submissive, even without being owned. I am a good girl, no matter what. I will not bow down to the first dominate. I am happy, I am independent, and I am still a good sub.
Sometimes it does hurt knowing that I am not pleasing my master, or that I do not have a master. But I have to learn to know what I want in myself, before having someone tell me what is best for me. I need a strong mentality before pleasing a dominate. I will be good for me before I am good for someone else.
