I suddenly open my eyes. Everything around me, dark. The only things i can hear, Metal against metal and my fast shallow breaths. Every now and then, Flickering lights pass by, allowing me to see many different size boxes. No tastes, no smells only a metal floor, cold to the touch.
The small room, like an animal cage, is filled with closed boxes and open crates; Inside them, only God knows what. Maybe food, blankets, water. The intermittent light reveals nothing as it slowly passes by, only a small space where i had once been laying.
My eyes, now slowly adjusting to the darkness, can tell me that i am in some kind of elevator shaft, slowly ascending. Ascending to the horrors of the unknown.
The feeling of despair, sadness, claustrophobia eating away at my stomach, like an animal trying to escape a foul trap. The feeling of confusion making my head ache, not knowing what lies straight above me.
