The New Girl

Third Person's POV

Marinette woke up feeling energized and excited for her first day. She got dressed in a pink fit and flare dress that game midthigh with a white and black flower design going diagonally across the top. She put on white flats and a a white headband with a bow to the right. She grabbed a white purse with a similar flower design except it was pink and black. After checking her reflection in the mirror she smiled and went downstairs. Where her mom was making breakfast. She sat down after saying good morning.

Sabine: morning Marinette

Her mom then set a plate in front of her. With bacon and eggs and a sliver dollar pancake. With some orange juice Marinette happily ate her breakfast . When she was done she went to brush her teeth and grab her school bag.  Today was her first day at her new school . Since she just moved to Paris from America.  Her parents wanted to open a bakery here. She was overjoyed with the moved she loved everything about Paris and hoped to move here one day but now she doesn't. She's also fluent in French since she wanted to come here so badly. Anyway she made her way down to the bakery part of her house. Her Father was setting things up for opening.

Tom: Morning Marinette

Marinette: morning papa , see you later

Marinette then kissed her Father's cheek.  Then she realized she forgot to give her mom a kiss. She hurried back upstairs and ran to her mom and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Marinette: sorry Maman , thank you for breakfast see you later

Marinette then ran back downstairs and started walking to school. When she arrived she saw a bunch of kids. Then she just waited until it was time to go inside. She went to her classroom and saw a bunch of kiss. The only empty seat was next to a ombre haired girl with glasses. So she sat there everyone was looking at her she didn't mind.

Alya: hi I'm Alya

Marinette: Marinette

Alya: so I'm guessing you're new here so I volunteer to be your first friend

Marinette: wow thanks that's very sweet of you

Nino and Adrien then turned her way Adrien thinking she was the beautiful girl he's ever seen. Her midnight colored hair, twinkling blue bell eyes, porcelain pale skin, rosy plump lips. Then when she noticed their stare she turned to them and smiled a breath taking smile. Which only made Adrien's heart skip a beat. He then smiled shyly at her and Nino smiled.

Nino: sup dudette I'm Nino

Adrien: Adrien

Marinette: Marinette nice to meet you both want to be friends

Adrien: Yes I mean sure

Nino: cool with me

Marinette: awesome three new friends

Adrien kept staring at her as she exclaimed her joy for making friends. Chloe saw this and decided to attack.

Chloe: and you won't be making anymore

Marinette: um well if you don't want to be friends with me that's completely fine but I don't think you can speak for other people um what's your name

Chloe: Chloe Bougieous the Mayor's daughter so don't cross me

Marinette: ok let's just not talk and we'll be fine

Marinette then turned her attention back to her new friends. Which Chloe did not like, how she brushed her off like she was nothing. Their other classmates then started talking to her befriending her. Which Marinette liked and was happy all her classmates well most of her classmates were nice. Then when the teacher came in Mrs.Bustier she grew to like Marinette as well. As she was very active in participation in class.  During the day Marinette made more and more friends. Everyone loved her good spirit and heart. Adrien was falling for her the more he learned about her. Marinette was walking home a happy person. When all of a sudden a girl in a blue and white suit and mask and her blonde hair was dull and her blue eyes were sad and angry . Yet Marinette was able to make out it was Chloe.

Marinette: C-chloe are you ok um you look different

Despair: I'm not Chloe anymore I'm Despair

Marinette: h-how

Despair: well since you're new here you don't know but I'm not going to tell you and I'm going to destroy you

Marinette then had to think as Chloe advanced towards her.  She started scanning the area and saw a metal bar on the ground and she ran towards it. She grabbed it and quickly swung towards Despair and it work she fell to the ground. Marinette then took off with the bar in hand. She ran pretty fast and she was looking back and saw that Despair got up and chasing her. Then she looked back in front of her and she tripped because she wasn't paying attention. She had hurt her ankle and tried to get up but fell again . She was terrified and closed her eyes . Until she heard a scream and herself being picked up and carried the opposite direction of the scream.  Marinette opened her eyes only to find herself in two strong arms covered in black leather. She looked up to see a blonde with beautiful emerald eyes and a determined look. She just snuggled into him feeling safe for some reason.

Chat: where do you live

Marinette: The Dupain-Cheng bakery the one that just opened a month ago

Chat: I know where that is hold on tight

Chat then used his baton to catapult them into the air and Marinette screamed in delight but held on tight. She liked the rush of adrenaline.  Then after a couple more of those they arrived at her bakery. He then took her inside and her parents had worried looks.

Chat: she hurt her ankle while trying to escape the newest akuma

Sabine: oh thank you for saving her

Tom: yes thank you

Tom then took Marinette from him in his arms and Chat bowed.

Chat: no thanks needed it's my job to protect Paris sorry but I have to go the akuma is still on the loose

Chat then ran out in search for the akuma. He soon found her and it wasn't hard to take her down. When her akuma was released he took it to Master Fu and put it in the jar of many akumas . He needed to do that until a Ladybug was chosen. Then after that he went to check on Marinette since as Adrien he has a crush on her which means as Chat he does as well.  He went to what seemed to be her balcony.  He tapped on the window.  Marinette saw and she walked to the window with a slight limp.

Chat: may I come in

Marinette: sure

She let him in and she sat back on her chair.

Chat: how's your ankle

Marinette: it's fine it still hurts but not as bad

Chat: good just wanted to make sure you were ok

Marinette: thank you that's very sweet of you

Chat; anytime well I guess I'll see you around

Marinette: wait , stay I can get you some treats a thank you

Marinette then went downstairs and came back with a plate of croissants and cookies with milk. Chat face lit up and he immediately grabbed a croissant. He then took a bite and a satisfied moan escaped his lips . Marinette then giggled as he ate the rest of the croissant in one bite and quickly grabbed another .

Chat: these are delicious

Marinette: thanks so what is your name

Chat: I'm Chat Nior protector of Paris

Marinette: well I'm Marinette new citizen of Paris

Chat: well nice to meet you

Marinette: ditto

As the next few hours passed the two talked and got to know each other. Adrien was happy because he got to show Marinette his true self though she doesn't know it. Marinette found him funny, charming,  a bit of a flirt, and a huge sweet heart. Yet she found him familiar but brushed it off. Then their conversation was cut short by Chat miraculous and he had to leave which she understood. When he left she started to think . She was starting to fall for him but she couldn't help it. Then they both continued on with their day not realizing that this started a routine and soon a relationship.
