Chapter twenty:The war begins now part 2

"Hmm who should I start with the people who call themselves the King and Queen,or the five elite guys (sarcasm there) or the Princess, this is a hard decision, who am I kidding its easy I can't destroy the one who can destroy me first  but i can destroy the ones she loves and cherishes." Shadow began to walk towards my friends and family I tried hitting the red orb but it was no use it didn't work he kept creeping towards them and the anger grew inside me.I looked to my left to see if I could find a way out but instead I noticed 5 Shadows they came out of the dark and I noticed they were the guys,Ryan must of cast an illusion of them and Jacob teleported them out I was over the moon but i had to act as though I didn't see them safe.

CRASH Shadow fell to the ground he wasn't dead though ,unfortunately, The red orb around me faded and me and my parents were free we delt with one problem ,Shadow,but now our new problem was the guards. They came rushing forward in a strong formation, a sword was lying on the ground I picked it up and attacked the guards the others joined in and we defeated them "Well done for defeating my guards but now you have to try and defeat me" Shadow was back on his feet we hid behind a pillar "What are we going to do?" Ryan asked "I'm not sure"
"GUARDS THEY'RE OVER THERE BEHIND THE PILLAR" we moved out from behind the pillar more guards came and came "we'll hold them off Aria you need to get your parents safe" Jacob said I wanted to disagree with him and tell him I would stay but I knew that would be the wrong decision.

Pounding of feet echoed behind us I turned around to see Shadow " to the roof" my dad shouted we followed him up and onto the roof
" why would you think that going on a roof would help its a stupid move if you ask me" Shadow said
"stay behind us" my parents said
"now where was I,oh yes taking whats mine!" The red glow from his hand came again my parents dropped to their knees in pain "A-Aria you need to get out of here" my mother said to me I looked around to see if there was an exit but Shadow blocked it, the other way was to jump off the roof and turn into my Dragon but all that fighting and struggle tired me out and I didn't have enough energy my parents were now unconscious on the roof " Your turn Princess" I took a few steps back my foot spilt against the slippery cobblestone roof he came forward inch by inch "ARIA" I heard someone shout. Jacob. He stared to fight of Shadow and I helped .I got hit back.

Shadow was now holding Jacob by the neck dangling him over the edge "JACOB" I shouted "now let us see how much you do care about your little buddy over here" he let go of him and Jacob fell quickly I dived off after him and shifted into my Dragon I must of gathered enough energy somehow I flapped my wings fast. I just about managed to catch him but he too also became unconscious the anger that was building up inside of me came out I joined Shadow back on the roof
" Let's see how tough you are"

Shadow turned into a red and black Dragon I shifted into my Dragon and we both took off  into the sky fire lit up the dark sky's night our talons scratching one another's side "Let's see how good you are on the ground" I said we returned to the ground our bodies had blood all over from when our talons scratched eachother I read his mind using my powers 'if I can weaken her just enough I can then take her magic' It read he shot a red ball at me I dodge it in time I shot back but I  missed. He shot back at me he didn't fail this time" I don't understand how you could be able to defeat me Your weak and pathetic if you ask me"
"Well for your information no-one asked you Shadow" I teleported behind him and struck the back of his head "How dare you!" I saw his anger coming out another blast of red light was coming towards me but somehow it never hit me... instead Jacob jumped in front of me he took the blast he fell to the ground not moving a muscle   "it's like I said before Princess your weak and pathetic you know you could never stop me and save your family, you might aswell leave  them here to die so they can't sufurethe pain they are feeling now and why bring those guys your endangering your friends they would never do that to you" tears streaked down my face it hurt to hear what he said maybe it was true and I could of killed all of them it would be my fault.

Images of the great times came into my mind the time me and the guys met seeing my parents " You maybe right Shadow" I said
"I knew it-"
"But you're wrong about may things true friends stay at eachother sides no matter what even if that means they will die for whats right" I straightened my back to show I was strong a purple light shone around me and I blasted It towards him the pain went I raced towards him hitting him with everything I have got no remorse  "YOU TOOK MY FAMILY, TRIED TO KILL THE ONE I LOVE THE MOST AND TELL ME IM WEAK AND PATHECTIC BUT THE ONLY ONE WHO IS WEAK AND PATHETIC IS YOU"
"Please! Please don't kill me I can change"
"You can't change the things you have done" I threw my last hit, he was on the ground shaking and quivering my hands glowed I released all my built up anger and I can only say that it was a lot.

I looked down to Shadow he wasn't moving blood soaked his clothes I held my arm where a deep gash was
"ARIA YOUR OK!" a voice said Ryan, Cody, Liam, Derek were there and my parents.Jacob where is he it just clicked in my mind I rushed back over to him knowing how bad my injuries were I knelt down next to him holding him close to me.

Back at the castle hospital
"Jacob please don't leave me I love you" I whispered, for the last few days I never left his side only tears came he stayed with me so I will stay with him "I love you too Aria" a groaning  voice mumbled I looked up to see Jacob looking at me tears came again but there's were happy tears "I'm so glad your alive"
"Me too"
"I'll get a doctor" I rushed out side and told the doctor about Jacob. I'm so glad your alive.
