When somebody claims to be alone, they say it's because they have no one. They tell you that it's the worst feeling when you walk through a crowded place, and you only have yourself as company. While this may be true, is it really the most devastating form of loneliness? To be alone does not necessarily cause feelings of loneliness. Sometimes the only solace one can find, is when they are simply left alone with their thoughts and feelings with no one else interfering. However, when a person feels anxious but cannot detect a reason, when a person is depressed with no external causes, when a person feels unworthy and unnecessary but doesn't know how to formulate those words, when a person craves physical pain to temporarily erase the emotional pain, when a person craves drugs to balance out their issues, that is a lonely feeling, that is devastating, especially when there's people who care, because you don't know how to reach out for help, you don't know how they can help you,. Then what is one supposed to do? So, is it better to be alone without feeling alone? Or feel alone without being alone?
