Chapter 14

             Derek's Pov
I was pacing the back and forth of the hospital waiting room.'Derek sit down" Erica says, she had Emily in her arms sound asleep. I look at her."No i wont relax untill i know some news" As soon as i turn around the doctor was right behind me. He sighs."I'm sorry" Is all i needed to hear I rush past him, walking into Jess's room. My eye widen with fear.The covers were covering her face. My heart was breaking. I slowly walk over to her body, lifting the blankets off her face. Her face looked as if she was sleeping peacefully. The doctors walks in."You didn't give me a chance to tell you the rest. The little girls is fine" I look at him, my hands now shaking."Thank you Doctor" He walks over to me, placing a hand on my shoulder."I'm sorry" He looks at jess, then leaves. I fall into a chair by jess's body. I lift the blanket off her hand, i take ahold of her hand. My heart was pounding in my chest."Jess, i told you,not to die." I had tears at the rim of my eyes." I told you, not to go after Ciara."Its my fault. that your dead" I rub my thumb on her hand."God, how am i going to handle two kids, without you by my side." I grip her hand looking down, letting the tears fall."Jess, why did you go" I grip her hand harder, letting myself cry. I tremble closing my eyes.

After a hour. I walk out the door. The others rush over to me. "What happened is Jess...." I look at them giving them the hint. Emily runs over to me. I bend down throwing my arms out. She runs into my arms crying. "Is mommy really dead" She says while her words were shakie" I wrap my arms around her."Yes, but your mommy is in a better place" She pushes me away, turning to run."Mommy is not dead" She runs past the others. I get up, running after her."Emily, get your butt back here" She runs out the hospital doors to the outside. I run after her, grabbing a hold of her picking her up. She tries to push me away, throwing tiny punches and slaps at me. She kicks her feet. I hold her against my chest."SHE ISNT DEAD, SHE CAN'T BE!!" Emily screams at me. I choke from the urge to cry."I know baby, I know" I rub her back."Baby look at me." She lifts her head from my chest with a full face of tears."Your mommy was a hero, She saved Ciara, Knowing she could die. She loved you very much, i know that for fact .She knew she was going to die. I could see it in her eyes." Emily cries even more". "She didn't want Ciara to die so she exchanged her life for Ciara to Live." She wipes her tears away, but more formed.

"Emily dont go blaming Ciara for mommy's death, blame me for not saving her on time." Emily trembles in my arms as i pull her close, taking her back into the hospital. Scott was sitting down with his head in his palms, i could tell he was crying. Stiles was to. Boyd Isaac and Erica were looking down. I sigh taking Emily to Ciara's room. Ciara looks up.'Where is Jess?" She asked. I look down."Jess....is..dead" I tell her." Ciara's eyes widen as tears flow down her cheeks."no it can't be" I nod my head as i take her into my arms holding both of them."Its true."



                                                                            (Skip to Funeral)

Emily and Ciara go dressed in,() I take their hands walking to the car. I let them get in, as i drive them to the grave yard. As we get out everyone was dressed n black or white. I sigh taking their hands again, walking over to the grave that had Jess's body burried in. I could hear Emily and Ciara start to cry. I look up the sky, gripping their hands."Jess" I wipe my eyes from the forming tears. My heart was beating as they lowe jess's coffin into the grave. ....

I look up, as my eyes widen to see Jess smiling face."Jess is that you" I reach my hand up to her face.She smiles. "Yes, you silly head, whats wrong" I look around."Where are we" She chuckles. "In the hospital silly" I look at her, getting up grabbing her into my arms."jess, you alive, your alive" She wraps her hands around me "You can't get rid of me that easy" She chuckles into my ear. I pull away."How but the doctor said you were dead' She tips her head."Baby what are you talking about." I look at her."You were just dreaming baby" She takes my hand."Just a dream" I say out loud.
