It's must've been a couple of days since what happened at the morgue. I've been avoiding 10k like the plague. It seemed like he was avoiding me as well. I don't know his reason but I know why I am. I'm no stranger to kissing people. Even people that I don't know. But it's different with him because I might've developed a slight crush on him. My father would be so ashamed of me if he knew.

I just didn't know if 10k had kissed me as a way to help stop my panic attack or if he had feelings for me too. Maybe both but I don't know and I don't want to ask. Man, I wish Addy was here to help me.

"Where are we anyway?" Murphy asked as we trudged through some woods, going uphill.

"According to this map, we're in the Black Hills of South Dakota." Warren answered.

"I miss the truck." Cassandra stated.

"Amen, sister." I panted.

"At least we're out of that damn horde."

"There's nothing to kill out here." 10k almost whined. I almost made a joke about his kill count but decided against it.

"That's fine by me." Warren said.

"We need to find a place to make camp soon. My dogs is getting tired." Doc voiced.

"Well there's supposed to be a little town nearby called Edgemont. I'll take a compass reading at this next ridge up here."

"Can't we just take a break?"

"A quick one."

"Oh my god." Exclaimed Cassandra. "Look." She said, nodding into a direction.

"Now who in the hell did that?"

"Some daredevil with a sick sense of humor."

"Is that Mount Rushmore?" 10k asked.

I nodded, eyeing the blood on the faces.

"This is why we can't have nice things." Murphy commented, scratching his head.

"Probably the same jackasses that tagged the liberty bell." Doc said. My eyebrows rose in confusion. I wasn't with them for that.

"I think it's awesome." 10k smiled. Doc smacked him in the arm.

Warren chuckled. "If I ever catch who did that, they're gonna get a whoopin'. Come on. Let's find that town. It's gonna get dark soon."

"I thought we were taking a break."

"Break times over." Warren said and we were off again. I sighed heavily and followed behind them.

What seemed like a long time later, Murphy spoke again. "We've been walking for hours. Admit it, Columbus, you're lost."

"Oh give it a rest, Murphy." Doc snapped. "Warren knows where she's going." He leaned in close to her. "You know where you're going, Warren?"

I snickered.

"Well we should've hit the town by now. And for the record, Columbus was lost when he discovered America."

"Yea and look how that turned out."

"Check that out." 10k said, pointing at a fence.

Behind it there was a building and a truck.

"That's not a town."

"Shut up Murphy." I grumbled. "It's something."

"Well now being Doctor Brightside for the moment, maybe there's something useful inside." Doc suggested.
