My POV:
I was sitting in the airport, waiting for my best friend to get back from tour. "Alli?" I heard Joni say, snapping me out of my deep thoughts. "Are you okay?" Joni asked as she waved her hand in my face. I shook my head, "Hmm? Me ... Oh yeah, I'm fine." I wasn't fine. I was about to see my best friend after his long world tour. I was nervous and everyone knew it. "You're not fine. You fiddle around with that bracelet Dana gave you in the 6th grade every time you're nervous." Dana (sr.) said. See, told you they knew.. "I swear, I'm fine. A little antsy, you know." I said as I stood up walking over to the window. "They just landed!" Joni squealed as we started walking closer to the gate. One by one, I saw David, Gabe, Will, Cole, and Dana walk out from the gate with their manager. A gasp emitted from my lips as my eyes widened. A shaking hand fell to cover my mouth as I watched Dana as he walked and talked with his fellow bandmates. "Oh my god." I said in a low whisper. Everyone had instantly ran to their sons. I, on the other hand, stood there as if I was glued to the marble flooring. "Alli?" Dana said as he did that cute squint he does. Bursted into tears before running in his direction, jumping in his arms. "Best friend." He said giving me a tight squeeze. "Hi bubba." I said, sounding muffled. "I'm ruining your shirt with my make-up." I laughed as I wiped my tears. "It's okay." He said not letting go. I unwrapped my legs around his torso and placed my feet on the ground. I pulled away from the hug and wiped my eyes clean. "I miss you so much, stuuuupiiiiiid." I laughed as I stood on my tippy-toes, taking his SnapBack. "Hey!" He yelled as he poked my sides, knowing I was ticklish there. "D-Dana!" I squealed trying to get away. "Maybe you shouldn't have taken my hat." He laughed, "Now say sorry!" "N-nooo!" I giggled. "Fine!" He said as he picked me up, throwing me over his shoulder. "Put me down!" I laughed as I smacked his butt. "Ow!" He yelled as he smacked me back before putting me down before we walked over to our group. "Ugh, what's in the backpack of yours?" I complained. "It's so heavy." "Plane essentials." He laughed. "So weird." I said as I handed him his backpack back. "You're weird." He chuckled as he was inches from my face. "Kiss her, you know you want too." Cole whispered. "Wow, vibe killer, Cole." Gabe said as he punched him." "Owwww!" "If Kendrick Lamar was here, he'd be mad because you killed the vibe." Will said as he pushed Cole a little. Everyone shook their head at Will. "We should get going, it's too late and I'm tired.." Joni laughed. "Why did you guys get such a late flight." I said as I shoved Dana. "I didn't tell you to come." Dana sassed. "But I did." I laughed. "Sass." Dana said as he picked up his bag. "See you guys." Dana and I said heading out to my car. "I'll drive!" Dana said as he closed the trunk. "You sure?" I asked. "You're tired, so yeah." I shrugged my shoulders, "Okay." I said hopping into the passenger side. "So how was the tour?" I asked. Dana let out a sigh as we stopped at a red light. "Long. I missed home ... a lot aaaaand I had wished you were on tour with me." "Of course it was long, you were gone for a year and as few month, home missed you, aaaaand you know I would have, but I had school." "Yeah, I know." "But I'm happy your home. I missed my best friend, have you talked to your girlfriend?" "Me too and yeah, I did. Seeing her tomorrow." Dana spoke as he pulled up to the Vaughns residence. "Are you staying?" Dana asked as he hoped out the car to grab his bags. "Why not?" I laughed. "That a girl." He cheered as had opened up the door. "Home!" Dana yelled as he to his room "Are you hungry?" "No, I'm fine. Just tired." "Stay here for the a bit." Dana spoke.
"Are you sure?" I asked concerned about his girlfriend coming in and walking in on us. "Yes." He said before he left to go to the bathroom. I quickly texted my mom before placing my phone on the nightstand. "Your room is such a mess!" I laughed as Dana walked over to his bed and laid next to me. "W-what are you doing?" I asked as I watched Dana slip his shirt off. "Going to bed, we did this all the time when we were kids. " "We were 8, D and you don't need to do that, you deserve your bed, I'll sleep on the couch.." I said hopped off his bed. "No - wait ... Just ... Lay with me?" Dana said.. "A-are you sure ... won't she get mad?" "Who? Elizabeth... I don't have to tell her." "I thought you guys had to tell each other everything?" I laughed. "We do ... sometimes." I fake gasped, "You lie?!" "Sometimes." He laughed. "I s-still don't know. She doesn't like me." "Well I like you." "Not the same way that I like you." I said loud enough for me to hear. "What?" Dana asked. "N-nothing." I sighed as I jumped in bed next to Dana. "See, it's fine." Dana reassured as he wrapped his arms around me. "Elizabeth is going to kill me and then you, watch." I sighed. "Go to bed, ya rascal." Dana laughed. "Night, D." I laughed. "Night, A." He laughed.
