Unexpected Romance

Ky and Carly meet up in front of the main office and greet each other with friendly smiles. Ky does a head motion towards Carly indicating that she wants Carly to follow her. Ky lead Carly to a shiny black Lexus with tinted windows. Ky unlocks the car for them to get in and puts the car in motion for them to be on their way.

"Is this your car?" Carly asked Ky.

"Yep. Like it?"

"Yea. Looks like its just been cleaned."

"Yea. I went to the carwash yesterday. My little brother dropped chips all over the seats and floor."

"Oh wow. Well, the car wash cleaned it up pretty good. How old is your little brother?"

"16. He'll be 17 July 20th."

"Oh okay. Do you have any other siblings?"

"No. Just us two. Do you?"

"No. It's just me."

"Oh okay. Cool. "

As they finally neared Ky's house, they were just finishing up their small talk conversations trying to get to know each other a little more.

They both had been born and raised in the city all of their life (well for the most part) and attended the same schools. It was then that they had realized that they had remembered seeing each other around. How could they not have become friends already considering they've actually been schooling together their whole lives?

As Ky parks and they gather their belongings, they exit the car and Carly follows Ky to the front door of a small but pretty house. As Ky unlocks the door and they walk in, she offers Carly food or a drink.

"Yea can I just have something to drink please?" Answers Carly.

"Sure. Would you like juice, soda, or water?"

"Umm I'll take some soda please."

"Ok, coming right up."

As Ky pours herself and Carly some soda, she leads Carly to her room and tells her she can sit on her bed. She hands Carly her cup of soda and sets hers on her dresser.

"Soooo what do you want the topic of our project to be focused on?" Asks Ky.

"Umm how about the male and female reproductive systems." Responds Carly.

"Ok. Do you want to do the research or do you want to put it all on the PowerPoint slides?"

"I'll do the slides."

"Okay. Then, I'll do the research."

Carly gets out her Lenovo Windows laptop and opens up Microsoft PowerPoint. Ky took out her same laptop and opened up to the internet to start researching. Apparently they both went to best buy around the same time and bought the same exact laptop for school, which was on sale.

They're getting along so well. The project will surely get a good grade. Ky and Carly have never been close friends but every time they saw one another, they always greeted one another in some way. For Carly is was a friendly wave with a small smile. For Ky, it was her signature smirk showing off her left dimple followed by her beautifully bright smiles. Carly had always loved Ky's smiles because it made her seem so happy and cheerful.

Okay. Maybe we should start off ny explaining what a reproductive system is. We can say that the human reproductive system functions to produce offspring."

Carly begins typing without looking, obviously inferring that she's a good and experienced typist. She finishes the sentence and looks at Ky for further research information to type but she's still looking for more information. Carly notices how when Ky is focused on something her perfect eyebrows arch. Her long eyelashes flutter humbly every time she blinks. Her edges are what kids now and days call it 'on fleek'. Her lips, oh gosh her lips, always glossed and so full and plump. She smelled of the most sweetest perfumes ever, the most refreshing smell (other than food of course).
