Chapter 01 - Izuku Midoriya

"We'll be fine!! Just take [M/N]! Protect him with your quirk and get away from this place as far as you can!"

[READER'S POV]

"FUCK!" I screamed as I shot open my eyes and punched the air on impulse, the immediate reaction causing gravity to be a bitch early in the morning and pull me off the bed and let my soft supple body collide with the hard wooden floor.

I groaned in pain and whined, cursing this morning in my half-awake/half-asleep state. It didn't help that due to my shock, my damn dragon tail popped out and so did my wings. "Damn it." I murmured and groaned, slamming the back of my head against the varnished wood. I closed my eyes and hoped that sleep would invade my system again.

But alas, a certain demon pup decided to bark happily then paw and lick my face. I opened my eyes to see my cute little puppy wuppy, Roof. I glared lightly at my pup and it only stared at me fondly with his little black eyes, his tongue out, breathing quickly and leaning close to lick my face again. I laughed. I couldn't get mad at this adorable creature even if I tried!

"Alright! Alright! I'm awake, jeez!" I exclaimed with a laugh and it only seemed to excite the little dog even more as he jumped on top of my figure and pawed happily at my chest, doing circles around my broad-ish chest and hopping around. "Calm down, Roof! You're being too damn cute this early in the morning!" I exclaimed and Roof only barked and breathe with his tongue out. I sighed and shook my head, feeling defeated as the sleep fully left my body-- not really-- and left me awake, my face most likely covered in dog slobber.

"Oh, you're awake. Good morning, my little bat." A calm and gentle voice came as my door creaked open, making Roof and I look at the source of sound. "Ichi-nii!" I exclaimed and smiled before cupping the little pupper in my arms as I swiftly got up onto my feet with the help of my tail and wings as I ran over to my older brother. "Hmm? What's this? Your face has been washed and you're already using your quirk so early this morning." Ichi-nii started, making my face flush a light pink as I looked at Roof who wriggled out of my grip and jumped out of my arms, landing on my pillow that magically appeared by the side of my door and running off around my room. "You're really a growing boy aren't you, my little bat?" Ichi-nii stated calmly and fondly as he placed his hand-- the one that didn't hold a spatula-- on my head and smiled at me.

"It's not what you think it is, Ichi-nii." I murmured and wiped the dog slobber off my face with the sleeves off my pajamas. "Roof smothered my handsome face with his stinky dog slobber when I fell of the bed, my quirk activating on it's own and releasing my wings and tail." I explained and my brother laughed and held his stomach. "I take back what I said then." He said and smiled, making me huff and puff my cheeks out, smoke coming through my nose. "Hey!" I scolded and he laughed once more. "You will always be my little bat, [M/N]." My older brother stated and tapped my nose before turning to leave.

"Ah! Before I forget--" Ichi-nii turned around and walked back to me and smiled. "Izuku-chan is waiting for you downstairs." He said and smiled, turning back around to walk away. "You both promised to hang out today, didn't you?"

"Eh?"

"EHHHHHHHHH?!?!!!?!"

I freaked out and ran back inside my room, grabbing my towel and the necessary toiletries I need to make myself look like a decent human being.

~~Le magical timeskip of [M/N] taking a shower and doing his morning routines to look like a normal human~~

I quickly ran down the stairs, almost tripping over my own two feet every couple seconds. This sucks! How the hell could I forget! I promised Izu we could hang out today!

"Hey, Izu!" I exclaimed once I finally reached the first floor, spotting a familiar mop of green and black hair. The male jerked and shot his head up quickly to look at me. "O-Oh! G-goodmorning [L/N]-san!" He said and frantically got on his feet to greet me. Due to his rush, he tripped on the carpet and fell forwards.

"Woah!" I rushed over, catching him in my arms and grinning down at him. "Be careful, Izu. Also, drop the formalities, just my first name would do." I said and helped him get back on his feet. "B-but--" "No buts Izu. Besides, we're friends now. Right?" I said with a grin, placing my hand on top of his head and ruffling it slightly. Then, he looked up at me with those wide emerald hues and I couldn't help but chuckle as he let out a satisfied huff and grinned.

"Come on. Now let's get some breakfast to ready ourselves for today's adventure!" I said and raised up a fist into the air before using the same hand to reach down and grab Izu by the wrist and brought him to the kitchen/dining room where I persuaded him to eat my big brother's awesome breakfast with me.

Once that was done, I drank my prescribed water/juice mixture and ran out with Izuku. I pulled out my phone and glanced at the schedule I had typed out last night. Izuku leaned over and tried peeking at it when I swatted him away. "No peeking." I said and grinned before taking his hand in mine and dragging him off to a place everyone loves to go to!

"An arcade?" He inquired and I nodded, stopping right in front of the gate steps. "What will we do here?" He asked and I looked at him curiously. "I-It's not like I've never been to an arcade before-- I just don't.... Prefer it...." He muttered making me nod my head. "B-but please don't change the plans you've made...." He said softly and I shook my head. "I never thought of it, Izu. Besides, if you've never had fun at an arcade before, you're with me now so I bet you'll enjoy yourself." I said proudly and grinned as I dragged him once more to the arcade.
