Have you ever wondered,

About things that lurk at night?

Things that jump out and give you fright?

I bet you have when you were small.

But, your parents dismissed them as nothing at all.

And so you grew strong and tough,

Taught that those stories are nothing but bluff.

But did you know there are things that dwell,

around the twilight zone and the boundaries of hell?

Things that turn your Skeptic to fear,

And convert happiness into tears.

Oh yes there is and he can,

He's what we know as the tall man.

He glowers above you,

Tentacles flailing,

He knows what he wants,

and its you hes tailing.

His grotesque figure,

Tall and thin,

He can penetrate your hope within.

With all your might,

you dash to the forest,

But, suddenly you hear,

children screaming in a chorus.

You run home and bury your head,

Its's no use now your already dead.

Now hes outside your home,

Your praying "god make him leave me alone!"

He peers inside that disgusting creature,

stalking you with no facial features.

And suddenly he comes close,

and you hear him say,

"Don't fear me child. I just want to play...."
