Pride

52 6 6

Laying there,
Engulfed in flames of hate.
Waiting for it to end,
It's fine, I can wait.

Politicians and Religions,
Controlling us like toys.
Why are we prosecuted,
For just liking other boys.

We wait for acceptance,
For tolerance, for love.
Are you gay, trans, bi,
Or all of the above?

Stonewall, Weho,
Every gay village in the world!
These places are our temples,
Or haven't you heard?

We just want to live,
We shouldn't have to hide.
Be we will always have a feeling,
That feeling of PRIDE!!
