The man who walked into the room, ten minutes later, was the epitome of what Jimin thought someone with the name of Cupid would look like. He was stunningly beautiful. He was tall, though not as tall as his cousin Namjoon, with broad shoulders, plump lips and silky pink hair. It was clear to Jimin, that Namjoon had a major crush on the Cupid, by the way he blushed and stuttered when he spoke to him over the phone, now seeing the Cupid in person, Jimin certainly understood why.

"Hello Joonie." The Cupid said with a smile.

"Hello Jin hyung." Namjoon said with a dimpled smile. He turned to Jimin and Yoongi, introducing the beautiful Cupid. "Jinie, this is Park Jimin and Min Yoongi, the patients next of kin. Jimin. Yoongi. This is Dr. Kim Seokjin, our resident Cupid."

Jin shook  both boys hands. "I shall do my best to help your friend."

"Thank you." Yoongi said with a bow, as Namjoon informed both him and Jimin that the Cupid was older than them all.

"What exactly are you gonna do?" Jimin asked curiously, as the Cupid approached Hoseok's bed.

"Well, first, I'm gonna check his heartlock and key." Though he answered Jimin's question, Jin was focused completely on his unconscious patient.

----------

Jimin and Yoongi were mesmerized by the Cupid. Though they couldn't see anything, they could feel the warm tingling sensation emanating from him, the very feeling one gets when they're in love. His eyes were closed in concentration for a few moments, before he slowly opened them, revealing eyes swirling with colorful galaxies.

Actual galaxies!

"H-hyung, do you see that?" Jimin whispered to Yoongi in awe, who could only nod.

"How does he do that?" Yoongi asked Namjoon.

The silver haired doctor shook his head at the older male. "I don't know. It's something all Cupids can do, a trait they are born with. It's that ability to ...see...tap into...whatever you choose to call it, the hearts of others, that make them rare."

----------

The galaxies began to slowly dim and fade away, the doctor blinking slowly once, banishing the last of the stars in his eyes, before addressing the other three boys in the room.

"His heartlock and key are rusting." He said sadly.

Noticing the Cupids sad tone and expression, Yoongi was quick to ask. "What does that mean?" His voice was anxious and laced with worry, as he was sure, that whatever it meant, it was serious.

"It means he's losing the ability to love, the emotion, literally dying. Before long, he won't be able to feel love of any kind, it simply won't exist within him."

Jimin gasped. "H-how did this happen?"

Yoongi and Namjoon remained silent, one from shock, the other from medical curiosity.

"It's extremely rare, almost non-existent, but this happens when the person has been rejected by their soulmate."

Jimin was close to tears, while Yoongi seemed pissed. "Who the hell would reject Hoseok. He's fucking perfect!" He practically growled.

"How bad is it, and can it be reversed?" Namjoon asked, attention on Jin.

"I'd have to physically look at it to know for sure." Jin turned to Yoongi. "With your permission?"

"Do what you have to."

Jin nodded. "Please understand, I can't stop what's happening, only his soulmate can do that."
