"Maddi!" my mom yelled from across the pool, "Come on, lets go walk around. Take a look at everything!" she was still being louder than necessary. Does she realize who's all around Steve and I? Boys. Boys are, and here I am, standing being watched. I didn't say anything back to her; I hesitantly got out of the water as my brother followed. We got dry without towels; it was very hot outside, put on the clothes we came there with, and followed my mother around. Steve kept fixing his hair every time a girl came within 10 feet of him; it was quite entertaining.

We stopped at the gym, and Steve made plans to go there everyday; He's turning into a health nut, but I don’t see a problem with it. We stopped to look at all the restaurants. Italian, French, Japanese, Mexican, and then the Buffet. We walked a long the beach, and looked at the steam ships on the horizon, they looked like they were going to fall off the world. There were two different spots on the beach; The regular spot, which seems to have bigger waves, more people, and a beach volleyball court, then the preferred part of the beach, where there were less people, the water had more rocks, less waves, but clearer water, and a marina to the Left, but blocked off by rocks, where reptiles tend to sun tan at. This place was more beautiful then I thought.

Once we got back to my room, room 8102, it was about 3o'clock. I missed the lunch buffet, but nothing a few drinks can't handle, at the swim up bar. I walked out, and ordered something with mango in it, I wasn't watching carefully what he put in it, but I knew it whatever I was about to drink, had alcohol. I had nothing wrong with it; I just had to drink it fast before my parents find out where I was. Besides the strong smell, the drink was delicious, and the bartender was surprised how fast I drank it too, which was fine. I said thank you, and walked slowly back to my room, enjoying the heat.

"Where did you go?" Stephen asked, as I was walking in.

I looked up and answered, "I went to get a drink. Am I not aloud to do that?" I was mumbling, looking down, and making my way to my bed to sit down.

"Well, wouldn't have been nice to asked if I wanted something?" He asked, rudely. I didn't reply, "What are you doing now?"

"Reading. On the deck." I replied, grabbing my book.

"What’s that smell? Did you open a beer or something?" He asked, sitting up in his bed. Suddenly my face got all red, and I wondered if my breath really smelt. He has pretty good sense of smell compared to most people. I just walked over to the mini fridge, grabbed water and sneered at him. I grabbed my book again, and sat out on the porch. Before sitting down, I looked around, the first thing I see is that boy again, he must be in preferred club as well. I didn't know how long I was staring, but he must have felt eyes on him, because he looked at me. I immediately looked down, and flipped to the page where I left off.

Nationwide #1 Bestseller; The Bachman Books. Four early novels by Stephen King, was the book I seem to have sucked myself into, I couldn't stop reading, almost to the point where I almost got sunburn. But it takes me awhile to get tan in general. Later that night, my family of four enjoyed buffet food, and a walk on the beach. Watching the moons reflection shimmering in the water, the sight looked as if fairy dust was lightly sprinkled as far as I could see, I didn’t want to take advantage of the fact that I can enjoy this, even if we’re here for only a week. It was just as hot and humid out at night as it was in the day. My hair got more horrible by the end of the day, so I kept it up in a ponytail for the majority of the time, making myself look way too young.
