The sun shining through the hotel window woke Weslyn up. She was not OK with this. She was on vacation for Pete's sake. She wanted to sleep. She had been having a really nice dream. Well she thought it was a nice dream, she didn't exactly remember it.

Weslyn sighed as she heard some banging around going on outside her room. Maria had to be awake. She was not one to sleep the day away on any occassion. Maybe Maria was making breakfast? Or she was about to paint something? Weslyn didn't know, and she really didn't think too hard on it as she nuzzled deep into her fluffy pillows and closed her eyes to go back to sleep.

The sun was still shining through the window, and it was keeping her awake. She wanted to close the curtains, but she knew if she got up, she'd most definitely never go back to sleep. Weslyn groaned and turned over onto her back. She stared up at the cieling sleepily. She closed her eyes again and her mind flashed back to last night. She smiled to herself. Paul was very nice and she really liked him. The only thing that worried her was how he seemed to be in this big time band. He wouldn't be in the States long, but Weslyn and Maria weren't staying in Florida for more than a week.

"Weslyn, can I see you again?" Paul was leaning forward on his elbow. Weslyn smiled and leaned forward herself.

"Whenever you want to see me again." She said flirtatiously, "I've got nothing I have to do all week."  Paul scoffed and looked down at the table for a moment.

"I wish I didn't have anything to do all week."  He sighed and Weslyn took his hand. He looked at her and smiled, "I don't get a lot of time off."

"Well then I think that will be very hard to see each other again, won't it." Weslyn asked slightly sad. She did like him quite a bit.

"Well we are staying in the same hotel, aren't we?" He asked gently, "We'll figure someway out, I'm sure." He smiled and Weslyn giggled. George and Maria suddenly appeared. George was smiling as Maria grabbed a napkin. She picked up a pen and wrote something on it before she stuffed it in the pocket of George's shirt.

"You ready to go, Wes?"  Maria asked. She shrugged and George kissed Maria on the cheek as Paul stood up. Weslyn did the same and Paul took her hand in his. They left the boys there on the beach.

Weslyn sighed again and she wished she'd at least gotten what room Paul was in before they left. A knock on the door pulled her from her sleepy thoughts.

"Weslyn, are you hungry?" Maria asked through the door, "We can go and get some breakfast if you want." Weslyn gathered by her friends offer that she was not making breakfast through all that noise. Weslyn sat up as Maria slowly and hesitantly opened up the door. She walked in and sat down on the end of Weslyn's bed.

Maria was wearing a pair of loose shorts and a shirt that looked too short for her thin body. She had a bit of paint or charcoal smudged on her cheek. Her hair was piled on top of her head with wisps of hair falling into her face.

"Have you been painting?" Weslyn asked with a sleepy sigh. Maria rolled her eyes and showed her friend her hands. Her fingers were smudged and dirtied up with charcoal.

"Sketching." She said scrunching her nose, "Do you wanna go out for breakfast or not? I'm starving."

"Do we have to go out?" Weslyn asked crossing her legs under her.

"What's the fun of cooking when you're on vacation?" Maria asked making a face."I don't know, I just don't want to go out." Weslyn said with a sigh, "Can't you make those yummy chocolate chip muffins?"

"No, I don't have chocolate chips," Maria sighed, "Nor do I have muffin mix." She laughed lightly and Weslyn got up.

"You're no fun." She huffed as she pulled off her pajamas.
