Oliver Mayfire sat at his desk in biology he had an odd obsession with science and he drank coffee more than water. He loved plants and never failed to have dirt on his clothing. It was his first day of being a freshman in college. He had searched for Rachel on campus that morning but she was probably late like always. Rachel Astor was an outgoing person who wasn't afraid to speak her mind. She is pretty but smart and is great at arguing, she planned on being a lawyer. Oliver looked to his left at the door that was opening hoping it was Rachel. It was just Bella Brockert. Bella was a sassy but classy kind of gal. She loved fashion. She craves attention and comes home with a different guy almost every night. Her best friend was Sabrina. Sabrina used to be Oliver's best friend until she changed.
It was now lunch and Oliver sat alone by the parking lot. A girl named May sat in her car reapplying her mascara. May was one of Oliver's high school crushes. She was now a florist who loves school and plans on working at Vogue. She is casual but has never worn sneakers after the age 12. Next to the biology room is Sabrina an introvert type of girl who works to jobs to pay for college. Her parents try to help her but she is very stubborn. She dresses as casual as possible and owns a white cat named Stewart.
A day passed an Oliver was now back at school awaiting Rachel's arrival. Or maybe she was just simply not going to come. Oliver sighed. A new girl walked through the door. She was dressed in raggedy clothing. She was actually beautiful. The teacher stood up at his desk.
"Everyone this is Ida Frank. We will all give her a warm welcome." She smiled politely and sat next to Oliver. He shrugged being the awkward person he is and stuck his hand out for Ida to shake it.
"I'm Oliver, nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too, I have never been to a real school before," She pulled out a pencil.
"How come," Oliver was amazed?
"I lived in a forest my whole life with my mother and sister. She attends this school also but she is starting as a junior." Ida was a shy girl who sold homemade medicines at local markets. She studied witchcraft as a child and almost perfected her craft, but she had stopped using it after a magic incident killed her father. She loved herbs and used them for almost everything and she was very good at living off the land.
The dismissal bell rang and Oliver walked to his car. He sat in there with the air conditioner running and pulled out his cell phone.
"Hello," Rachel answered the phone.
"Rachel where the hell have you been? Why didn't you come to school?" Oliver raised his voice a little in anger.
"School? You're tripping Oliver it's Saturday." She sounded as if she just woke up.
"No Rachel it is actually Tuesday. Are you hung over?"
"Maybe a little. I think I got drunk on Sunday and I woke up Monday thinking it was Sunday."
"You are really confusing Rachel. I'm going over to the café and getting you coffee unlock your door."
"Thank you Oliver, bye." Oliver drove off campus and brought coffee to Rachel's dorm room. She smelled of vodka and whiskey. Her room was messier than ever and she was a neat freak. She sat up in bed with her dress on. Her mascara was smeared.
He handed her the coffee.
"So...I met a girl today." Oliver sipped his coffee
"Oh really, what is her name?" Rachel took her dress off leaving her in her under wear and bra.
"Her name was Ida. She loved the outdoors as much as I did. She even had dirt on her clothes."
"Oh my, you guys were meant to be soul mates." Rachel sat next to Oliver on the bed.
"It seems that way but I barley know the girl. But she is beautiful and soft and a plant lover." Oliver was a soft boy also and romance was his number one thing he only had one girlfriend in the past and he dumped her because she wasn't loyal.
"Well Oliver I know you the most and if we were together I think we would be together for a very long time."
Rachel and Oliver were similar in that way. They were loving and caring and so loyal. They were great people and never did anyone harm. Oliver was meant to be therapist because he was confidential and easy to talk to. Every problem Rachel had, Oliver would fix it.
When he got home he set his keys on the table and lay in bed pondering. He heard giggling outside his door. He went to the door hole and looked out. Across from him was a familiar girl. It was Bella making out with someone. Oliver was shocked, he had no idea she lived across from him. Oliver tried to see who the guy was. Torrance Sanders. They went inside. Torrance was a very bad person. He needed to help Bella as much as he had no urge to talk to her.
