Chapter 21: Room Where It Happened

After waving goodbye to his good friend Rose. Cyko decided to finally head back upstairs to see how his sweetheart was doing. He was thinking about everything that has happened and didn't really think about how Phantom was doing. He didn't even think about how he was doing.

He finally opened the door to find his lover sitting up with his head down, looking at their cream, white, silk sheets with golden edges. A smile exposed itself across his face as he saw that Phantom was awake, until the smile faded away when he realized that he was crying.

Cyko rushed over to him and granned his arm softly, but was surprised when Phantom snatched his arm away. "Phanny, what's wrong?" Cyko asked with a concerned and sad look. No answer, just the sound of sniffles and gasps. Cyko lifted his hand to move his hair out of the way, but stopped when Phantom commanded him not to.

"Just...don't touch me... For now." Phantom said in a soft and raspy voice. Cyko nodded and gave him his space. He was hurt that his lover didn't want his touch, but after what happened, he immediately understood. "Just call me when you need me." Cyko said turning around.

"I thought you were mine..." Phantom said in a whisper causing Cyko to turn around quickly. "What?" "You said you were mine Cyko... Why?" Cyko stood there feeling extremely confused but felt somewhat guilty, and had no clue why. "Phanny baby, talk to me. I don't understa-" "YOU FUCKED THAT BOY! IN FRONT OF EVERYONE CYKO!" Phantom screamed gripping the sheets as more tears quickly fell from his eyes.

Cyko was somewhat surprised that Phantom saw all that with the state he was in. He was actually a bit lost at first, until he remembered what he did to get free.

"I had no choice Phantom! If I had not have done that, they probably would've killed us! That boy meant absolutely NOTHING to me! He was just a decoy! I had to get everyones eye off of the obvious pieces of glass or else they would've moved me further away!" he explained to him.

"Oh really? Of all crazy methods that you could've came up with, THIS is your excuse?! This is the Cupid situation from the resort all over again! Excuses excuses!" Phantom yelled.

Cyko was actually becoming quite angry with what Phantom was saying to him. He began to frown and talk at him with facts about all that has happened.

"Phantom this is stupid. What's done is done." Cyko said sighing heavily, first shrugging, and then putting one hand on his hip and the other rubbed his head.

Phantoms POV:
Ugh he just does what he wants and doesn't think about how it could affect me! What is with this guy? Does he not love me like he use to? Where did all that concern disappear off to? I look at him... And it's...gone

Cyko POV:
Jeez... This is not turning out well. What's with that look he's giving me? Is something wrong with him? What did I do? Oh wait... I know what I did.... I dId WhAT I cOuLd To SaVe Us!! No... I'm not losing it here... Not on my Phanny... I have to go.

Cyko shook his head and got dressed quickly. "W-Where are you going Cyko?" Phantom said, watching Cyko getting dressed and crawled in his direction. "I need some time...to think about what happened.." Phantom began to panic. What does he mean, think? Is he...leaving you?! As cyko began to zip up his jacket Phantom came up behind him and hugged him gently.

"You don't have to leave to think Cyko." he said in a somewhat seductive tone. Cyko turned around and allowed Phantom to fully embrace him. Cyko kept a straight face, not embracing him back.

'LoSe It! LeT iT gO!! ReLeAsE!!!' Cyko breathed in sharply and pushed Phantom back roughly and ran out the door, slamming it hard. Phantom stared at the door, and listened for the front door. Another loud slam.

'Cyko? I don't get you... I do understand what you're going through... Closure? No, cause no one else was in the room where it happened... Thank god that no one else was in the room where it happened.'
