sighing, hongbin entered their shared dorm. he had been out filming a new drama, coming home at 11pm he was exhausted. kicking his shoes off and putting his bag down he quickly stretched his sore limbs before walking to the noisy living room.

a small smile formed on his tired face as he heard the sound of laughter from his group members. when in sight, ken immediately greeted him cheerfully and the others slowly did the same, but hakyeon could not be seen.

"and he was watching it again!" ravi shouted before erupting into laughter with ken.

hyuk and leo were also snickering and hongbin wondered why.

"what?" hongbin asked tiredly.

"ahh" hyuk replied, "we caught hakyeon watching home shopping again"

laughter erupted again before ravi pointed to hakyeon's room, motioning that their older member was inside. hongbin nodded before stretching again.

"has anyone not showered?" he asked.

everyone shook their heads as ken answered that hakyeon hadn't.

nodding, hongbin moved towards their rooms to grab a change of clothes. the vixx dorms had two showers and one was for hakyeon, leo and ken and the other for the three younger members. 

taking out a loose t-shirt and sweatpants out, he frowned a little when the thought of hakyeon not having showered yet was finally registered properly. the older boy was usually punctual and had a strict schedule, he liked to shower by 8pm and it was way past that time.

sneaking a peak at their older brother's shower room, the frown grew deeper when he saw that it was unoccupied.

pushing the thought away, hongbin showered and washed up, enjoying the feeling of all the tiredness and stress melt away. 

with a towel on top of his head to dry his hair, hongbin walked towards his room but that tiny feeling of uncertainty was nagging in his brain. stopping, he turned a sharp left as he slowly walked towards hakyeon's room.

knocking softly, hongbin waited for a reply but all he got was the sound of shuffling.

slowly opening the door, hongbin entered before carefully closing the door.

"hey" hongbin said softly, trying to look for his beloved older member in the dark.

he stopped when he heard shuffling again which led him to the far right corner of the room where a big lump of blanker was.

"hakyeon..?" hongbin said softly.

"..y-yeah..?"

it was soft and muffled by the blankets but hongbin could hear it.

"what's wrong?"

"n-nothing"

"then why are you hiding inside your blankets?"

"i-i'm not"

...

"i'm just cold"

hongbin would have rolled his eyes if he wasn't so worried about the older member. slowly and carefully prying the blankets away, hongbin's heart ached to see hakyeon's tear stained face, sullen eyes and pouty lips.

holding the blanket around hakyeon's face, hongbin cupped hakyeon's face softly.

"what's wrong?" he whispered softly, making sure he didn't sound rough, making sure he made his member at ease.

shaking his head, hakyeon refused to say anything. instead he tried to avoid eye contact with the younger boy but because hongbin was holding onto the blanket at the bottom of his chin, it was hard.
