(MADISON'S POV)

"RUN!!!" Screamed my bestfriend Hali. I'm running as fast as my legs can carry me. All I can think about is getting away from him. He has been after us for years, and he won't stop untill he gets us.

* FLASHBACK *

~ "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" we screamed at the same time. Our birthdays are the same and we always celebrate together. The blue fairy gives us each a cupcake with a candle on it. We blow out our candels and make a wish. Hali and I are always running so we never stay for long, but the fairys have been good to us even when we dissapear for a while. Hali pulls her long, wavy, brown hair into a ponytail so it doesn't get icing in it. She looks at me with big brown eyes and says "Happy birthday Madison." I smile and say " you to." Just then someone busts into the building, I see black leather and a silver hook. I look at Hali with wide eyes and she screams "RUN!!!" ~

So here we are running through the enchanted forest to escape the one handed pirate with a drinking problem. He has been hunting us for 5 years, so that would make us 12 back then. Sometime during our escape the blue fairy hands Hali something, I'm too focused on getting out that I don't question. We run for what feels like hours untill Hali stops in a field. I stop myself before I run into her and ask " what are you doing?  we have to keep moving!" She looks at me and takes something out of her pocket, " consider this a birthday present." I look at her shocked, " is that what I think it is??" She nods and says " a magic bean, the blue fairy gave it to me before we left." "You know what this means right?" she asks. I nod and say, " We can escape him for good, we can go somewhere he won't be able to find us." "You ready?" " Yes" She looks at me for a seconed longer then throws the bean on the ground, the green portal opens and swirls. We take each others hand and jump.
