Clarke rolled over in her bed, groaning at the sound of Bellamy's voice.

"Your mom thinks you're dead."

She groaned, rising up and stretching her tired limbs. "What?" She asked, sleepily.

"It's noon and you're still asleep," Bellamy deadpanned.

Clarke just shrugged, falling back onto her bed. "Tell her I'm not dead, just sleeping."

"Oh, no," he said, grabbing her by her arms. "Time to get up."

She allowed herself to be pulled up into his arms, her head falling onto his shoulder. She breathed in, his smell filling her nose. She moaned, hugging him.

No! She pulled back, mentally slapping herself. She needed to get her shit together.

"Okay, I'm up. I'm up. Coffee," she sighed, stepping around him to go downstairs.

She grabbed a mug and made herself a cup, drinking deeply before she turned and faced her mother.

"Princess has finally graced us with her presence," Bellamy muttered, stepping by her to grab grapes from the refrigerator.

She snagged a few, giving him a look. "I couldn't sleep," Clarke shrugged. "I took a benadryl and passed out."

"Is everything okay?" Her mother asked gently. "Are you settling in okay?" She was nervous that Clarke wanted to be with her Dad.

"I'm fine," Clarke assured her. "I probably just drank too much coffee last night with Raven." She rubbed her neck. "Actually, we leave Monday, so I think I'm going to go crash with Raven this weekend."

"Oh. Are you sure everything's okay? You only just got back here, and,"

"Mom," Clarke stopped her mother. She wrapped her arms around her Mom. "I'm fine, I am settling, I am not moving back to Dad's. Okay? I just want to spend the weekend with my friends and then you get me for the rest of the summer. Promise."

"Okay, baby. Don't get into any trouble," her mother smiled.

"Like what?" Bellamy chuckled. "Checking out too many books at once from the library?"

Clarke gave him a sweet smile. "Would you like me to grab you a book while I'm out? A great book about manners and etiquette?"

Bellamy laughed, loudly. "Etiquette?" He followed her up the stairs. "Why study up on that when I'm certainly not in the presence of a lady," he lowered her voice.

Clarke spun around at his small dig, her mouth opening to tell him off when he pressed his lips to hers.

He pulled away too quickly, leaving her blue eyes wide. "What the fuck?! Mom is right down the stairs!" She whispered.

Bellamy winked, turning and entering his room. She went to her own room, frustrated as ever. This was exactly why she was spending the weekend with Raven.

She was ready to pounce on her step brother and she felt so much shame and guilt over it. Which Bellamy didn't seem to feel at all. All he felt was her, and damn did she love the feel of him..

"Oh, come on!" She whispered to herself. "Get your fucking shit together."

She grabbed her overnight bag and shoved a few things in it. She applied her make up before packing it, too. She pulled off her shirt, grabbing a fresh one from the closet.

Sliding her flip flops on, she turned off everything before closing her bedroom door. Checking her appearance once more in the bathroom, she was ready to go.

"Staying with Raven?" Bellamy asked from his doorway. "That's your what, punishment for sitting on my--"

"Uh!" She stopped him. "No. I thought about it, and it's just, it's been a long time since I had any. And, what happened before has influenced us. We were wrong, so, I'm going to stay away from you until I get my shit together."

"So, you'll be at Raven's or you'll be looking to get laid?"

"Maybe both," she shrugged. "Look, I don't have to tell you everything I do. You aren't my keeper. So, I will see you tomorrow night when I come home and finish packing."

Bellamy stopped her from leaving. "Clarke, if you need to get laid, I'm a few feet away."

She pushed his shoulders. "Stop doing that to me."

She left, jogging down the stairs and rushing out in the heat to her car. She rolled the windows down, texting Raven that she was on her way before backing out.

What was his end? Why try to sleep with her? To hold it over her head that she was bad? To brag? Why?

It's not as if they could be together!

She wanted to bang her head against the steering wheel, but instead she continued driving into town, grabbing lunch for her and Raven before pulling into her driveway.

She hoped Raven would put her in a better mood.
