As I walked down the small staircase in my small cottage, I realised how much I would miss Remus, my brother, while he was at Hogwarts. He was always there for me when I needed him, but now I wouldn't see him until December. Even if he did come home for Christmas he would just leave again until May. I guess I would have to learn to cope though, because there was nothing I could do about it.
"Gracelynn, Dear hurry or we will be late and Remus will miss the train." My mother yelled at me. It wouldn't make me hurry though because I didn't want him to leave. "I'm coming Momma." I replied back to her demand.
Once I finally got to the stairs and saw how happy Remus looked to finally get the chance to make some friends, I couldn't help but sigh and yet again think of how much I will miss him.
"Gracie don't look so sad, I told you I would write." Remus coaxed. "I know but who will I talk to while I wait for you to write or reply to my letters? I'll annoy Mum and Dad after a little while." I said. He just frowned and walked out the door followed by Momma and Dad. I couldn't help but whimper slightly as I felt alone all ready.
Once we got to Kings Cross Remus remembered his lycanthropy and paled. I handed him a small case of the wolfsbane and he smiled and hugged me. He said goodbye to our parents before walking away and boarding the train. This was going to be a long long year
