Tom's POV:

  Phew! Finally I've finish writing down notes for Emma. I can't wait to visit her again. She's been absent already for four days now. As I was walking towards my locker, Harry ran beside me.

"Tom?"

"Hmmm?" While getting some things out of my locker.

"Have you seen Emma around?"

"Ummmm.... no." I lied. I already promised Emma not to tell anybody about it.

" Tom, can you promise me something?"

"Sure, what is it?"

"Don't tell anybody about this accident."

"Okay."

"Ohhh..." Harry seems to be sad about it.

"Why are you looking for her anyway?"

"Nothing. I should go now. See you after school." he said and ran off leaving me dumb.

" Why would he look for Emma ?"

I just shook my head. I better hurry up and go to my next class.

Harry's POV:

  "What were you thinking Harry?" I ask myself. Why am I so worried about Emma?

  While arguing with myself, I accidentally bumped into someone.

"I'm sorry." I said and continued to walk. "Harry?" Wait, that voice is familiar. I turned and saw her.

"Mallory? Why are you here?"

"My mom decided to let me study here again so I'll be closer to home."

"Oh. Nice to see you again." I said walking away. That was awkward.

"Harry!"

"What?" I ask as she was running towards me.

"Can we have lunch together?" she ask.

I didn't answer. Why would she want to have lunch with me? I just recently broke up with her.

"But if you're busy I understand." she says walking away with her head down.

I want to run after her and accept her offer but my inner voice keeps on saying to leave her alone.

  I turned away and walk towards to my next class. It's better this way.

"You're good....."  a person stood in front of me.

".... you did our deal."

My hands clenched into fists.

"I only did it because you threatened to hurt my friends."

"Well, every deal has to have a threat."

"Can you leave me now Ray? I'm late." I said trying to fight myself not to punch his perfect face.

"Just remember Harry, if you don't talk to her or even stand beside her, no one gets hurt. By the way, I'm going to court her, since you're already out of the way." he said and walk away.

I hurriedly ran outside to the garden where Emma took me. I sat under the tree and let all my emotions out. I screamed, I cried, I even punched the tree.

For those who didn't understand, here's what happened.

few weeks ago...

"Nice to see you here Harry." Ray said as I walk in.

I grab a glass of whiskey and sat at the couch making myself comfortable. They always have this party every saturday at Ray's house, where everyone is invited.

Tom never knows about me coming here. If he did he'll surely won't talk to me for a thousand years.

"Let's make a deal Harry." Ray said as he sat across me.

"A deal?"

"Yes. I'm interested about that girl of yours."

"Mallory?"

"Yes....." he says taking a sip from his drink.

".... I want her to be mine."

Out of instinct I pinned Ray to the floor.

"Don't you dare do anything to her.!"

"Relax...." he says giving me a smile. ".... I will not do anything bad to her if you break up with her."

"Nothing will ever happen to her while I'm with her."

"What about your friends? Tom and your new friend, Emma?"

I released my grip from his shirt. "What are you going to do with them?"

"Well, there are so many things I can do to them. I know they are very close to you."

"But even though I accept the deal, you can't make Mal like you. She's in another country."

"Don't you know that my dad is the most powerful man in this city? He can just snap his fingers and Mallory will have a ticket back home." he grin.

I can't think of anything to say. If I don't accept the deal my friends will be tortured or anything. This boy is really getting on my nerves. I take a deep breath and said

"Deal."

"Good choice." he says walking away."

After I let all my emotions out I sat on the ground and look up to the sky and whispered to the wind...

"I'm so sorry Mallory"
